well, at first i had no idea where to start with ResEdit, but i just downloaded EV-Edit 2.1 which made things a lot easier. I think im fine now. Sorry to bother you!

Ooh. You're not going to like hearing this, but the last thing you want to use is EV-Edit. You'd be better off using Resedit and having no clue what to do than use EV Edit, get a lot done, then come back another day to find your plugin corrupted. EV Edit has a very bad history of messing up people's work. If you want my advice, get Mission Computer version 3.0.1. You can find it for both Mac OS 9 and OS X here: (url="http://"http://davidarthur.evula.net/")http://davidarthur.evula.net/(/url) It can edit EV, EVO, and EVN plugin files, and it works about as well as resedit, but a little easier for some parts. If you want to learn how to do plugin making, one way is to just open up a plugin. Look at what the plugin does, then try and figure out how it works. It's actually not as hard as you might think. The EV Bible should also help if you read it. But above all, just don't use EV Edit.
