Still playing War Without End, so you dont get confused like last time. I got to destroy the Alien Star Destroyer ship thingy (the mission is called A Fall Into Darkness). Will 36 Nukes be enough to destroy it? Torpedoes caused only 0.5% damage to the Alien Cruiser in EV itself, but know that 14 of them is enough to disable a Terran Dreadnought. Yes, I tried. Or should I get sell the Nukes, and get 3 Barrage Turrets in addition to the 2 Neutron Turrets I have on my Kestrel? Barrage Turrets fire insanely fast for their power. I also need to decide which weapon I get. 3 Neutron Turrets are insanely powerful, but slower. As a final help, here is the shield rating of the Star Destroyer: -1800. Apparently it has armor too, 850. I wonder why I got it before I had finished the other missions in the string? My Kestrel will be no match for it, it would have been more fair if I had gotten the Prototype Cruiser first.
Edit- And yes, I already Tritanium. Do I need Durasteel? Edit 2- I thought that I would conquer all of Terran space too before getting the mission. ------------------ I am eager to try to answer mission questions

Two days and no answer. It was too hard. Nevermind, I did it myself yesterday after being tired of waiting. I found out that I had confused it with the Empire A Vision Of Nightmares mission, which has this Star Destroyer. Because it had a Star Destroyer, I thought the Weave missions would have one too. But I found that it just had the same Alien Cruiser as in EV. On the one hand, its dull. But on the other hand, it gave me a chance to destroy it fairly. The first time I beat a Alien Cruiser in EV itself I did it by firing Forklifts as fast as possible, because back then I hadnt read about get on its back tactic on the boards yet. Now I did it by firing Nukes on it. The first time I got it to 1% shield before I noticied my armor was 0% and I blew up. A second time I got almost blown up by the impact of Nukes. The third time I fired them as a long-range weapon to avoid getting damaged in the blast. I avoided the two Alien Fighters that were hostile to me, and seemimgly avoided most of Seeker Drones too because I had 63% shields left after battle. After 19 Nukes, it was dust. I got access to the Weave ships, including Beam Cruiser which I am going to buy, and Escort Carrier. I wonder if there is more missions. I cant just do the first real missions on the string, (inserting commandos on Luna)and then suddenly do the sting that leads to the Alien Cruiser which is the last mission, can I? Where are the missions where you conquer the Terrans? I know for a fact that you do that, because I looked in the data files. Where is the mission where you get the Prototype Cruiser? I know you can get it too, because it is avaible after mission bit 137 has been set.

Here's my answer for you:
I don't know!
------------------ (url="http://"http://directory.perfectparadox.com/profile.php?id=00080")Destroyer E(/url) is the (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiasw.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ubbmisc.cgi?action=getbio&UserName;=Destroyer+E")name(/url) of my ship and the name has a good meaning.
Looks like my reply is a little late but, for what it's worth. I did it by Monty Pythoning it and using one of the beams with repulsor qualities to keep it at bay (I forget its name). I loaded up on Neutron turrets and/or barrage turrets. The only problem is that you run into the limits of the sector before you destroy it so you need to do a little nifty maneuvering when that happens.
There are much more powerful weapons available in War Without End than in stock standard EV so I typically destroyed the fighters before dealing with the mothership. This is not normally possible in EV itself.
------------------ Its amazing how "tsk, tsik, nik" can mean anything from "There's a bomb in the bus, get help!" to "I'm hungry, feed me" In case of ambiguity about anything I say - choose the nicest interpretation.
