1. Cartel Marauder (with Plasma Drivers) vs. 2. K'rali Syndicate Predator (with Coaxial Disruptors) vs. 3. Darkside Deathbringer (with Focal Point Cannon)
I've done the Cartel and K'rali strings and am now in the Darkside string. Should I go for a Deathbringer, or capture a Marauder or Predator to use as my ship? Your thoughts?

I haven't gotten around to the Darkside string in the final version yet, but in the beta version the Deathbringer was a beast, by far the best pirate warship. Though it had more FPCs than it does in the final version. I'd still say go for it. The FPC is still one of the best secondary weapons. And don't about not having disruptors, it will be worth it a little later in the string (if ya know what I mean).
Although I think I ended up stealing an Empire dereadnought a little later on...

I have only gotten the DeathBringer, but it is fantastic with a few Special upgrades. Does anyone know the stats for the other vessels?

I'd go for the Deathbringer. I replaced all of its stock weapon systems with four ion turrets and four enhanced neutron turrets. Along with speed upgrades, shield upgrades, and the four armor layers I could find (Standard, Enhanced, Titanium, Neutronium), I could take out any ship in the game.

Yeah, I got the Deathbringer as well. I wasn't impressed with the FPC or the Shield Leech, so I dropped them both and went for Neutron Turrets and Cannons (and the Enhanced version later), as well as the Particle Beam. Finished the string with that. I do think the coolest-looking ship, with the most awesome weapons is the K'rali Predator with the Coaxial Disruptors.

I dunno, the Predator always looked to fat and bubbily to really seem mean to me. Personally I think the Deathbringer is the one that looks the most capable of dishing out a good ass whipping.
Though the disruptors are very nice.
