I just completed the mission where I had to retrieve the weapons and bring them to clotho prime and a guy told me if I wanted to help relocate the weapons to meet a guy in the bar. I went there and nothing happened. How do I continue the rebel storyline?

Yep. The chances of getting the mission, although pretty good, are random.
Think of it this way: as soon as you jump into the system, the computer rolls a set of dice, and this determines whether or not you will get the mission (if you choose to land and go to the bar).
There's nothing you can do to change the way the dice roll. However, by jumping out and back in, the computer rolls a new set of dice.

OK now I've done tons of these missions but I don't seem to get anywhere, is this a repeating mission. If it is then how do I continue the mission string?
by the way does anyone know where I can buy a corvette in rebel space, the rebels don't have many shipyards that sell them.
You can buy a Corvette in the Yemuro system, one jump south of Turin.

It is. I cant tell how to continue if you cant tell the last mission you did. Try going to Palshife.

I had the same problem with the Rebel mission. I pressed Abort Mission (My, my, stupid) and forgot about it. What will happen?

Most times, you can just go back to the planet you got it from and get it again.
