MINOR SPOILER
The cave you need to get into is the next screen to the east from there I think. **
Do you have to east before north or can you go vice versa also

I wouldn't go east, then north. Those dragons are tough early in the game.

Well first you need the mission from the Knight at the Knight house, and you also have to have the pawn title.

I've got the mission to go to the swamp and find the dude and i'm a page But in the area that everyone says you get in though is blocked by hilly things AND I'VE BEEN TRYING TO DO THIS FOR 3 AND A HALF HOURS
its the area your looking at on a little island in the middle of the swamp two screens into the swamp area? When i got the mission, the cave entrance was cleared by two soldiers.

The area that i'm talking about is the place that when you enter it starts playing the weird swamp noises. For more info read previos posts.

so your not even fully into the swamp? try the south end of the map there should be a way in between the trees and rocks.
Can anyone tell me how big the Ghost swamp cave is? That's the one with two exits, guarded by two knights, right? I've got 2 screens so far, and I can't seem to find the general... Is he usually found where? Thanks all, Nate P.S. PoG is soooo addictive!!! It should come with a Surgeon's General Warning!

The cave does not have two exits. but yes its guarded by two soldiers. the cave is two screens big on the first level then on the second screen there are stairs to go down to the 2ed level. once down there it is only one screen big i think, seperated in half by a arc of overhanging rock.

Not really it take 6 or 7 hits to kill em
That's why I make sure to kill them
Can anybody tell me why the Holy Cloak or Cloak of Holiness, or whatever it is, doesn't seem to offer any protection against the zombies even though it says it offers +20 against undead? The Claymore of Light is also supposed to offer +20 against undead, but I don't notice any difference between getting hit while I'm wearing the cloak, and carrying the claymore, or using the elven longsword and having the shield of stone. So where's the protection? Also, how hard is it to kill the demon guy(general)? I went in earlier but when he hit me and took off 45 health with one hit, I backed out. Will the Claymore of Light help against him, or should I use the elven long word with the shield of stone? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Klinux

Death Knights are pretty tough. I suggest not getting caught with your shield down. Click-and-hold combat will get you killed quickly. Oh yes and carry heal potions.
So does that mean noone knows whether the Claymore of Light or the Holy Cloak actually help? I beat the Death Knight. It was actually pretty easy with the Elven Long Sword, Shield of Stone, and Elven Full Plate armor. However, I still don't notice any difference between when I use undead protection items (for a total of 40 Undead Protection), or when I don't. They still take the same amount of points away from me, and I don't hit them any harder. Why even make undead protection items if they're not going to be of any use? Oh well. The elven long bow works great if you're outside, but it is harder to manuever well inside. By the way, now that I've saved the general, how do I get him to give me the tent? Thanks.
Klinux
P.S. - Hope my tone doesn't sound too bad, I'm actually enjoying the game. I'm just disappointed that an item doesn't seem to work as advertised.
I was disappointed with the claymore of light but have found the divine lamp (+50 vs. undead) to be a real help.
