EV won't load up. It keeps demanding more memory. I add more but it does not work. I have version 1.0.5.

First, how much have you allocated? Are there any plug-ins in the plug-ins folder? Are you using an emulator on a PC?
I have found that EV loads more smoothly if I am having trouble if I switch to 256 colors manually before starting.

About 250 over the normal amount. Only EV Tuner, but I was making a new plug-in when it happened No

You have plenty of memory, so it sounds like the new plug might be responsible. If you removed it, perhaps you corrupted one of the standard files. Look at the modify dates.
What system are you running?

Then you must have a real old Mac. Usually System 7.5 comes only with emulators.

Man, System 7.5 -- I remember that. (edit)Edited link names so the thread would have a more normal break point ------------------ They say that if you play a Windows Install CD backwords, you hear satanic messages. That's nothing; play it forward and it installs Windows. --thanks to TBobMac

I think I'll get an IBM Laptop. I do love my old mac. I also have a LC III in a closet somewhere. It runs 7.1.0.
I don't want to grave dig, but I need some help with this.
I'm not sure if this will help, but when I first got Override I had to turn the virtual memory on. It does decrease performance, but it's better than no EV at all. I was running 7.5.3.
