My hat's off to ya -- this is one damn cool map.
I'd caution people who are playing PoG to not download the map unless they are sure they want a spoiler. Part of the fun of PoG is the adventure and discovery.

I saw a smilie face made with rock 'fangs' and tree stumps. I think it was in North Gidolan

You missed an area. On the way north from Fantrima toward the Learning Tree, right after you cross the rickety bridge, there is an area of the woods where you can head west, right through the trees! When you get to the other side, there is a cave that you can enter which contains some easy monsters that I was able to defeat, and I don't even have the registered version of the game. The cave also contains quite a bit of treasure and an item called Anna Krystyna's Harp, which must be the objective of some secondary mission.
I know i missed some secret spots, I was making it as I played the game, since you can see in the later harder areas there are red dots on the map from a special ability you can pick up as you play. I just didnt feel like remaking some areas just because of a secret area since flattening this image in photoshop took forever.

The name 'hector' semes to be conected to a cheat, though my stats din'nt change, ex. What did happen is a luck bounus, and creachers hit less.
