A plug-in where you can play as Alien. There has never been any where you can be one. I want to be able to fly their ships and get their weapons which I dont lose when I land as part of plug. Heh, that reminds me of a long-forgotten TC that I had planned long ago, where the Great War never ended, and you played as the Aliens. I've still got my old files for it, somewhere around here, but I don't think that the EV engine could have handled it...

What about EVC? I know that OctoberFost (hey, remember him?) wanted a project like that. It was in the time of the Great War. It was promising, you could play as both sides: Confederation or Alien.
Hell, if you really want an alien plug, all I need is a set of alien graphics for more ships and stations, and perhaps some new ships for the humans (to keep things interesting) and I'm sure I can cough up at least a small plug, like 30 missions or so.
Know where I can get these graphics? And is a plug like this in demand, or will it just be for you, Mr General.
I know Macavenger was working on a plug that continued the Great War, but he disappeared months ago...

Years ago. His last post is from October 2001. It is great, you can experience the Great War and fight back Aliens, but its not the same. You can only fight for humans.

I dont know if others want it too, because they havent said yet. The only person that has been mentioned as interested is OctoberFost (as you said) and EVula, since he once worked with a plug-in. And yes, I really want it. A plug-in where you can play on the Alien side has never been done before.

I remember now that there was a cheat plug that supposedly allowed you to use alien tech, but all it did was violently screw up your computer.

Is there nobody except Nebula Roamer, Jimbob and me that wants to be a Alien? That surprising, considering a plug-in like this has never been made before. Arent you interested in plotting and fighting against humans? Having their ships and weapons without cheats, and wihtout losing them when you land? Having aliens have a government with systems and a home instead of a few stranded ships? I really want it so can you make it, pistgavin? The plug-in that has atleast 30 missions and which you said wouldnt be too much trouble. For us three.

I once made a large number of objects (spins, ships, weapons, outfits, stations) for aliens (and for Rebs, Confeds, and another group) for Joseph Wilm, but I haven't heard anything for two years. If he would release his rights to them, I could provide graphics if you are interested.

Some of those pictures are strange. I didnt recognize anything except Alien Fighters and the ball with a star (I guess it means Seeker Drones). Explain them?
Ionstorm (and others): I am currently involved (well, not involved as such, I work on my own usually) in two projects: for Frozen Heart EVO and a TC which I'm not paying much attention to.
This Alien plug could be made. pistman1@yahoo.co.uk if you're interested in a co-production. I am very good at programming interesting and innovative missions, so I'm sure I could come up with a few ideas.
We shall see how things develop. Another programmer might be nice, for all those greasy inbetweeny bits (dogsbody work, mostly).

What could our tasks be in co-production be? Tell them. But atleast no playtesting, since I already betatest F-25 2.01 for Bomb. And what do you mean with dogsbony work? The tedious bits of finding bugs?

Yes, they are for additional weapons (1, 2, 4), bays (5, 6), ships (3, 6, 9) and stations (7: reduced too much to see and another not showm). Numbers refer to figure in my previous post in the following pattern. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 The ball with a star is a launcher for some kind of torpedo. I have a variety of other related things sitting on my disk.
