Too many monsters in cave

I've been playing this game for over a week now. My character is fairly healthy, or should I say was. I'm in this cave with bridges over some lava. I had an awful lot of health potions, plus the ones I got in the cave. I'm now out of potions and am down to 12 health points. First, I think is a great game after spending many hours playing it. BUT, I resent having to kill the same monsters over and over. If I've killed all the monsters on one screen, save the game and quit, the next time I load the game, I have to kill all those monsters again. That's not fair. I've invested a lot of time into my character, not my character but the games character, and now it seems it's all for nothing. I'm going to have to start all over and neglect my wife all over again.

Save yourself the agony and stress! Just send me $20 and your player file, and I'll
get ArcAngel Counterstrike to get you back to town alive. It is that simple!

(AAC has said he is the king of getting to town with 1 hp left. I figure he'll do it for
$10, and of course since I broker the deal, it'll be worth $10 for me. Just call me
POG: Pimp Of Garendell. 🙂 )

Shoot 'em with everything you've got. If anything still lives, shoot 'em again.

ROTFL
...man.
Here's a tip: you move "Faster" when you are moving on a diagonal. However, Monsters "Forget" about you faster, when you're moving vertically.
Good Luck,
Nate

Best tip I can give you is to keep killing monsters that you can handle without dying or wasting money on potions (I like the orange dragon-type creatures near the Tree of Knowledge tunnel) until you've amasted 10,000 gold coins. Then go to Berlarium (sp?) and buy the Elven full-body armor. I absolutely adore it, and the beauty is that now most of the monsters usually hit me for 1 hp (Sea Giants and Undead excluded). It took me a while to get that much gold, but it was by far well worth it. Cheers!

You don't "have to" kill them. If you've already cleaned out one screen then just ignore them and go through to the next.

ArcAngel,
Are you serious? You can get that armor for free? Well then... insert shameless begging Oh Mighty and All Powerful One, If it is in your benevolence to bestow that priceless knowledge upon the head of your worthless, groveling servant, I will praise your virtue evermore.
Really, I haven't found anything like that for free.
Anyhoo,

It doesn't cost money to get the Elven Full Plate, except for the hundreds and hundreds of potions you buy and the many save and reloads you go through if your character is too weak.
The armor is on the ground and in the left of the crypt in the center of the cave. The cave is in the northernest map of Wyrm Vally(?). There are Revenants(?)(red zombies) and Death Knights(?) galore.
The Wyrm Valley itself has lots of Wyrms(?)(those orange/dragon things) and is in the extreme Northeast of Garendall.

Thanks for all the advise. Somehow, someway I managed to get that tooth and get back out. What an ordeal. Now, I've forgotten where to go to get rid of it. I'll accept a hint.
