Some of you actually willingly DO the Confed missions??? Geez!

(The only pilot I ever started as a Confed lasted about 20 minutes. I just could'nt do it. I deleted the pilot; never did that again.)

You might want to do that if you have done the Rebel missions. After all, there is nothing more to say that the Confeds are evil than the intro text.

I say that anyone who has played the game on either side needs to play it on the other, then as an independent trader man guy. Then you can trully appreciate the game, and head to Nova being at peace with the universe. 😉

The mission "strings" are nothing like Rush Deliveries. You're checking all of the bars, aren't you?

In order to get the mission string for either faction you need a respectable combat rating. i usually go for dangerous but ive read that noteworthy is sufficiant. Once you obtain the combat rating, hang out in Satori or Sol (depending on what faction you want).

In Sol, go back and forth checking Luna's and Mars' spaceport bars. You'll get plenty of dummy missions like blackmarket wood, but eventually a person with the confed supply staff will ask you to deliver some parcels. deliver them, hang out on Sol like before, eventually you'll get other missions that bring you along in the string.

In Satori, you can check the bar. If there's nothing go to the mission computer and accept a ferrying mission. Abort that and check the bar again. Repete as needed.

Someone will point out that these missions can be found in other systems and sometimes in enemy territory. They are correct. I just tend to stick in the capitals.

Insanity has its advantages

Actually, you dont need Noteworthy for a intro mission. And why would you? It wouldnt be logical that a cargo mission would need a high rating, especially as it is the first mission a newbie gets. Jimbob posted a link in the missions and items thread which contains the correct info. (url="http://"http://www.planan.com/ev/rebel.html")http://www.planan.com/ev/rebel.html(/url) Combat rating: Ä… 1 (between harmless
and mostly harmless).
Legal status: Ä… 1 (between clean and
decent individual).

Same for the Confeds. (url="http://"http://www.planan.com/ev/confed.html")http://www.planan.com/ev/confed.html(/url)
