Escorts? Where?

Hey I've Beaten EV (no plugs) on both sides but for some reason I can't get the escort ships ot the govt I can buy the ships in the ships in the shipyard but I can't hire them as escorts. HeLp?

You cannot hire them as escorts, only purchase them. There is one way that I know of. Leave all your bay fighters out of the bay and purchase another ship. They will still be there, but you must pay them everyday.

What you can do is take out the ships, then board them to plunder stuff and hit "Use as Escort". It's pretty difficult without a ship with a lot of "crew", so get 5 corvette escorts, and put them on the no attack stance while you fight the ship.

There is a batter way:

1.Buy a gov. ship
2.Capture a wimpy craft (e.g. shuttlecraft) AND us as own.
3.Rinse and Repeat
