on an emulated PC? I wrote to Aidan Hotan (one of the developers), but got nothing back. Virtual Memory is off. I've set the memory for EV down to 40MB all the way up to 100MB. Same result: system/spob names are long strings of characters. There's no way to navigate around all that mess. If anyone's solved this riddle, please tell me how to do it! I don't seem to have any trouble with other plug-ins, just this one.
Thanks very much! ~Ace

I would suggest getting a Mac.

I have a Mac. It just needs to be repaired.
I've tried playing NH on my PC as well. The problem is that all the resources are screwed up, both their names and data. I've tried downloading a copy from the addons section, the NH website, and the using the copy that came on the CD, but all were corrupted. I think all the easily publicly available copys are corrupted and unplayable, sorry.

Well, what about playing it on a Mac? I know someone on these boards has played it successfully!

 I guess I should have mentioned that I tried downloading it onto the old LC at home. It was still screwed up. I think all the servers that host it were sent a corrupted file. On a slightly lighter note, I have heard that there is a larger file (~18 or 19 Mb I think) that is supposed to work. I just don't know where to find this.
I've played it on a Mac, and it is one of my favorite plug-ins. I can't recall the plug-in's size, so unfortunately I am not much help there. Out of curiosity, I feebly "ported" it to EVO to take advantage of AI and graphic options, but am otherwise pining away (some day..) for PortAuthority, so can try it out on Nova's engine.
It must be that I'm trying to play it on an emulated PC. I haven't had any trouble with any other plugins, though. Guess I'd better get my iMac fixed!
