I'm wondering, if you could become an Alien would you?

I would be an EV Alien, or any existing aliens. No contest if they're smarter than us, and better designed.

They lost the Great War...

But just cause... they... hm, how did they lose?
Because humans always win with their inferior technology and brainpower.

Depends. What kind of alien?

What kind would you want to be? What kind wouldn't you want to be?
I'd prefer super-intelligent, immortal, green aliens; I'd hate to be stupid, ugly, short-lived, naked (well... it could have it's advantages...), and scuzzy brown. Or pink. Purple's okay, though.

If I had my pick of any alien race found in SciFi for both questions:
The SciFi Aliens I would most want to be are the Goa'uld from Stargate SG-1. Life doesn't get better than that: your race has discovered relative immortality, you are born with great ammounts of genetically stored knoweldge, get to wear cheesy knockoffs of ancient earth dress, and get to speak in Hollywoodized Ancient Egyptian; in a really cheesy boom-box voice too. Plus, their Motherships come with built-in pyramids. That is so useless; but so damn cool at the same time.
The SciFi Aliens I would least want to be are whatever Jabba the Hutt eats durring the Star Wars movies. I think my reasoning there is self-explainatory.
Once upon a time, I was working on a TC for EV that allowed you to play as the aliens in a bizarre alternate EV universe, one where the Great War never really ended, and humans and aliens were still at war with each other. It would have been cool, but it never got past the concept stage, due mostly to me not having the time to work on it. I still have all of the files from it, I think... if I ever run out of things to do (hah!) I'll work on it again.

I have a similar project, called Great War, except it is a prequel to EV and occurs durring the Great War (hence the name). I recently found it on my computer and started working on it again, but I stopped when I saw a topic here praising a recent alien-related topic for its great graphics and 250 missions.
I don't have the time to compete with that.
They lost the Great War because it was part of the story.

That's pretty much a more specific version of what I said...
Are the Goa'uld green?

They're dark grey-green to black; they're small reptillian, snake-like creatures, and have a parasitic relationship with humans, attaching themselves to the back of the brain and basically taking over the mind and body.

Oh, I was under the impression that they were humanoid. But whatever works, works.
First of all, its essentially impossible to be an alien, if you were of another species, then humans would be alien to you, and your race would be your own, and you aren't really an alien. But that's just technical

The Goa'uld really piss me off in stargate, I guess that's to the shows credit, but I'd rather be something that could kick their butts, like Emperor Palpatine with 1000 star destroyers terrorizing their entire galaxy, and re-enslaving the people in more efficient slavery operations, muhahaha, Or I could free them, but that wouldn't really go with the role of Palpatine.

What plug is that? one of the Empire plugs? I would like to have any plug-in about Aliens, because there hasn't been any. So can I have it, even if it is incomplete? The thrill of being able to see the Great War exceeds any bugs it may have. Please?

I thought of that as well. I'm sure I'm an alien to some other species, so I'll just stay human.

Palpatine's human, though.
