I usually start out as a pirate before joining the rebs. Remember that the rebels won't attack you whanever you shoot someone. So when I pirate my base is Satori because they have alot of agrosys.

im a pirate. I love running around the Polaris and surrounding systems for the res and credits. Disable all confed freighters, take out confed defenders, plunder and capture the ships (if you can). Med supplies and Lux goods sell pretty well. How do I avoid being attacked instantly? With 2 bulk freighters on my wing, I get pirates following me. So I disable, steal crap, kill pirates, sell crap, repeat. Nice good fun.

If you include plugins in your question, how about "Who's in the Mafia?" or "Who's in the Serpens Triumvirate (Triad)?" One could also ask (in another topic) "Who's an alien?" Maybe someone who's not originally from the U.S. could be an alien (a legal alien)! Here in the U.S. we have legal as well as illegal aliens, so I wonder why someone hasn't put legal and illegal aliens in a plug (like, maybe working as independent agents)? Sounds like a good idea to me.
