I usually kill Bounties who try to get me. Once I did a BOunty mission though. Wasn't too fun as the Rebel Missions.
Technically, you can't really bounty hunt... You can so pirate hunting, but there aren't too many missions where you can get paid to destroy specific pirates. There are a couple but it's kinda' rare...

I only got a bounty mission in one of the plugins. In the real EV, if you're a rebel, they ask you to help destroy PIrates coming into the system though.

i get a lot of bounty hunter missions for specific pirates, and most of the time they are on rebel planets

Killing the Bounties that hunt you (to me) is kind of a waste of time. He keeps coming back! The only use I find of the Bounty Hunter is capturing his lightnings, each time he attacks me I get about 1.5 million. Too bad you them for less than what you buy them for.
