And yes, the Rebel Cruiser was my all time favorite design of any ship, which was recently replaced by the Rebel Dragon Carrier Class II.... My 2nd all time favorite ship was the Rebel Alliance Calamari Cruiser M80a. Rebels rock. Down with authority and their smelly ships
I like the Rebels. My favourite Rebel ship is the Destroyer from EV. Down with the Feds!!!!

Well first of all the confed cruiser is a joke. Its like a gigantic target. Its huge. You can shoot blind folded and not miss its huge ass. Its a huge flying ass! I can take a lighting, cliper, hawk, or even a defender....maybe not the defender and kick its large ass. its so unbearably slow its not even funny. The Rebal crusier is so much faster and munverable.

First of all this is just like the other guy who said the confed cruiser proves that the rebals are wrong. Well anyone can have the partical beam so it doesnt matter. And so if the particle beam can prove anyone victorious then any guy with money can have one which renders that thing wrong

That doesn't say much. A good human player can almost always beat EV's AI no matter what ships each party has.

Check your facts; the particle beam cannon is Confederation military technology. You're given it on the Confederation storyline, and it's carried by some Confederation cruisers. At no point is it publicly available in the outfitter.
For that matter, the ever-popular tractor beam is also Confederation technology, even if you do get it from the Rebel storyline - it comes from a mission in which you steal it from the Confederation.

Well i remeber being able to buy the partical beam and tractor beam. But i do think it was from a confed planet. But all you would have to do is bribe the planet to let you on if you were hostle.

Eh, I don't love the Rebels, but I do prefer them to the Confederation.

Hi, I'm Rawzer, and I like to rattle cages.
Reasons why the Confederate Navy is so incredibly awesome compared to the puny little flies that call themselves Rebels:
The Confederation ships (if similar looking) are all original. And good. Very strong, and rather fast, if upgraded.
Fed tech. As said before, both beam weapons are Fed tech. And the cloak is only useful in combat for tricking the A.I. It really sucks.
Sheer numbers. The Confederate Navy is huge, full of powerful ships. They could win any fight of attrition.
PR. Where are the pirates? Not around Confed planets... The Navy does a good job of keeping them out, in Rebel territory. The Rebels have the Confeds to worry about.

You forgot to mention their awesome blue dots on their wings! Their ships cost over double the rebel ship, they must be over twice as good. They're smarter cos they've got slaves to do all the hard work on the planets. They almost always attack a rebel over a pirate, cos rebels are a bigger threat. and so on and so forth. :rolleyes:

My point is that the fact that you can defeat a cruiser says nothing - if you're as competent as you claim to be, you could probably do the same to a rebel one. When controlled by pilots of equal intelligence (such as the AI, since this isn't a multiplayer game), the Confederation's ships are superior.

Yes, the Confederation's warships do cost a fair bit more than the Rebellion's - probably because the people building them are being paid proper wages, rather than "working for a cause." As forge said, the materials are probably a bit better as well. Fortunately, the Confederation also seems to have more money than the Rebellion, and therefore can afford them.

Hmm... maybe you're thinking of EV Nova, where the Federation has Vell-os slaves? As far as I know, even the rebels don't claim that there is slavery in the Confederation.

Correct. Pirates can be dealt with any time - they're just out to make a profit for themselves, not to overthrow the government. If the rebels aren't dealt with, there won't be any Navy left to deal with the pirates.
And despite all this, there's still a good deal less piracy in Confederation space than in rebel territory.

umm... no not in my piloit file. I am a selfpromoteing pirate in the SOL system and those crusers, They suck! a hawk cold take them on and win. so my point is THE CONFEDS SUCK ASS!!! ASS being the pirates
