I'm having a problem near the end of the Confederate string where you have to find the alien fleet. Earth has sent along four battle cruisers to wipe out the aliens. Whenever I jump into the system where the aliens are located, the Earth forces turn against me. Is this supposed to happen? Suppose my pilot file got corrupted? I have earlier saved pilots but I would have to go through some tough battles again and I'd rather not if I can help it. Any help would be appreciated. This is really a great plug.

Can you give more details on your problem, and what plugs-in beside ROP that you are using?

What ship are you in? If you are in a ship of an enemy govt. that may be causing the problem.

Thanks guys! I'm not using any plugs except Realm of Prey. I'm flying a Behemoth which is presently allied with the confederacy. I did jump into the system one time and everything was OK, that is, the Cenfederates didn't attack me. The only problem was that I got killed before I finished off the aliens. So, it seems that the problem is sporadic. I guess I'll jump into the system a few more times and hit the escape button if the Confederates attack. If that doesn't work I'll try aborting the mission and get it fresh. Tim really knows how to write scenerios. His plugs are great.

Hmm... Sounds to me like you accidentally hit one of the Confed ships with friendly fire. That's pretty easy to do with a secondary beam or cannon weapon and it would cause them to attack you. Sometimes I just attack them on purpose and then beg for mercy so they will leave as the get in the way of my fire far to often to be at all helpful. The Alien Mothership is definitely the hardest boss there is sice Tim made several of the bosses not have turrets (Faction HQ for example) making them extreemly easy to kill. Still a great plugin though.
