James D. Hooger in the year 2541 striked it rich by inventing a speed faster than the speed of light. The invention uravels great riches..... and Great dangers. The aliens attacked without warning. They destroyed all the outer colonys in hours. But the humans put together a Confederation and turned the tide of the battle. In 8 years the hostile aliens were all extinct. After that the Confederation ruled. But Rebels fought seeking freedom from the Confederation. There were lawsuits, but they could not be settled by words. The Civil war was upon us.
