i don't really see how you can even consider the picketship with the other options available in EOC. The widowmaker, super-destroying, i suppose even the sabre. Not to mention the strike cruiser...hehehe...and no offense or anything, i congradulate you in your feat of destroying those dreadnaughts, but three dreadnaughts isn't really all that much to kill...you will have to do much more later on in the plug. Good luck with the rest of the plug though...

Trust me, it's good. Upgrading it with Ion Turrets and a Shield Generator makes it quite powerful, and it's very maneuverable and fast.
My current missions are: Dominate Bordello, Dominate New Kingston, and Dominate Regula Penal Colony, for my Mafia, Merc Guild, and Triad pilots, respectively.

As far as I'm concerned, the Merc Guild Dragon Interdictor (with all upgrades, etc) makes one heck of a butt-kicking ship (It looks cool, too!) I just love those MLM's! With six MLMs, who needs torpedoes or cannons/turrets? I just lock on closest target (unless I'm going for bigger game), activate double-speed (Caps-Lock), keep up-arrow and auto-pilo keys depressed, and fire when in range! So far, I've only completed the missions for the Merc Guild. I haven't decided if I'm going to try the Mafia or ST. I like playing for the good guys, not just whoever bids higher. One thing I did not like in this plug was the fact that (PN) was made to look like a heavy drinker, smoker, and only cared about money, not on helping the right people or working for the cause of goodness. One thing EV/O/N needs is a place to go (besides the bar) when one needs to have a meeting with one's contact(s)... The way it's set up now, if you need a mission, or meet with your contact...go to the bar (or restaurant/eatery...)! If I were going to bomb a planet, the bar would be one of the first places I'd choose to hit.

The EVN engine allows for missions to be offered in a number of places. You can get missions in the bar and mission BBS as well as the shipyard, outfitter, trade center and main spaceport (the first thing you see when you land). If I can ever get someone to convert the graphics for the Empire plugins, my Nova ports will have missions offered in places other than the bar. By "semi-dead topics," do you mean "Best Empire Of Crime ship?" Hey, I didn't start this topic, I'm just contributing to it (or trying to). Maybe what this board needs is a complete listing of already hashed-out topics (so we can avoid them like the plague). Or perhaps I should make this my last post since I obviously cannot seem to come up with anything original or unique to contribute.

I know that you didn't start the topic, but posting to a topic that has been dormant for more than a year is a little odd, in my opinion. We don't need a complete listing of already hashed-out topics, just set your preferences to display only topics from the past 30 days or something.
However, like I said, I don't have that big of a problem with it; while I don't like grave digging like this, you do always have a good reason to bring it back up (most people just say "me too" or something spamish, while you're always on topic). If I did have a problem with it, your karma would have been lowered.
Then perhaps old topics that have not been posted to in X amount of time should be locked and/or archived to prevent dopes like me from posting to them, yet still be available for reference.
