I found a cool Hector auto-kill. Set his shields to a negative value, he will explode whenever he enters the system

I just tried BariSaxGuy5's suggestion...and it works! This is the first time I've seen Cap'n Hector explode. Wonderful! Before trying this, I went into EV Data and deleted him. For a little while he would still be there, without a graphic. Then he must have bought a cargo shuttle and started harassing me (you know how it is). So here I am in a Kestrel, and here comes Cap'n Hector in a shuttle, and starts spewing his "words of wisdom." Once, before he upgraded to a shuttle, he managed to attack me just after I launched from Mars...using Seeker Drones! Killed me that time! Now I just watch him explode (and what an explosion!) when I jump into a system. Fortunately, he usually winds up just in front of me when he explodes!

I regestered for ev imdeiatly. I never got a chance to kill hector i was only 7 or 8 years old.
