Anyone haveing trouble with the alien missions in EV Empire(1)?

for some reason, whenever the feds or rebels tell me to check out the aliens I never can find the cruiser, I've visited every system in the galaxy multiple times, how can I get apst it? is there a way to edit the data so my pilot has done it? any help would be greatly appreciated: EV v1.05 btw

Get the first mission, then go to adhara, the Alien fighter is there, dont bother to kill it. Then get the second mission and the cruiser should be near adhara. Kill it and forget the fighters, they're not worth the trouble.

Try the Castor system! I've always found the alien fighter there. When you get the "kill the cruiser" mission, try the Guiron system. BTW: remember, you only have to wipe out the cruiser! Of course, I usually eliminate each and every enemy craft I can.
