NGC-6564 & Sol - Can they be conquered?

My boy Tiger wishes to know if you can conquer NGC-6465 or Sol?
We have been trying for days, even with forklifts.
Would like to know.

Also, what extra features come from registering???

Sincerely,

Yes, all planets and stations can be conquered, provided you have enough time. My advice: don't bother with planets like Earth. They're not worth the wait.

And if you register Hector leaves you alone, you don't have to see that annoying pop-up thing everytime you start the game, and you get a warm, fuzzy feeling inside.

Even Sirgil Starport isn't worth the wait. Using an Alien Cruiser and forklifts, it took me four hours of non-stop carnage to defeat its defense. based on the fact that Sirgil SP has 1000 ships in its fleet, and Earth has 3000, I never bothered with anything in the Sol system.

Four words, I CAN'T CAPTURE PLANETS! Oh shoot, I'm gonna' need more words. Ohkay, more specifically, I tried once, knowing the goverment would get mad, so I didn't intend to save. (Stupid me, I landed, now I have to bribe or get a mission to Sol just to land.....) Anyways, when I say 'Demand Tribute" they say, "You're a weak moron, GO AWAY!......" or something like that. And I don't see any fleets coming to destroy me or anything..... Any advice?.....Please? 🙂

You need a "Deadly" combat rating before you can attempt to conquer planets.

Oh.....But than what are all these fleets from planets I've been hearing about?

When you acheive a deadly rating, hail a planet and demand tribute. It will then send out a planetary defence fleet ranging from 10 ships to 3000 ships. When you destroy their fleet, hail the planet again and demand tribute again. The planet then should stand down, and you get tribute from it each day (usually 1000 credits).

I'm as mad as a hatter on speed being raped by a heavily endowed Emu

Oh! Thanks! O.K. I have another question now. By doing some rebel missions (I got the cloak!) I really pissed off the goverment. Is there a way to make it so I can land on the planets without bribery, other than destroying pirates there? (The only pirates I could find are defenders, which take forever to kill.)

------------------

One word. Dominate

Or if you're not up to that (not wanting to deal with annoying bounty hunters, I think they're free escort but thats IMO ;)) or have too low of a combat rating, uh, try taking on a mission that ends up at Sol, like a Rush Delivery to Earth. That will allow you to land there. Also, you could just complete the rest of the Rebel string, get a Rebel Cruiser, and dominate the planet you're going for. Watch out for anything in the Sol system, they're uh. long lasting shall we say 🙂

Bribery is cheap anyways, especially when you have one or two of the weaker systems dominated. (Try Capella first, only 12 Fed Patrol Ships/Gunboats, and they come 3-4 at a time)

------------------

Which would be better for fighting? Kestrels or Rebel Cruisers? (Hate cruisers, I've been destroyed so many tims by 'em) I'd like to know before I drain my credits. Another question, which missions are the rebel missions? I completed a set which gave me the cloak, (It was easier than I expected) is that it? Sigh, it's impossible to land in Sol, since I have criminal statue, everythin goes after me, I mean, it's possible, but it takes a couple minutes, and for another thing, this is a really, REALLY, long sentence, (Just noticed) and for ANOTHER thing, I've been typing excessively, um, yeah, I'll shutup now.

------------------

Well, there is an illegal item you can buy on a Pirate planet, called a fake ID, which erases your criminal record with the Confederates. However, it costs like 2.4M credits, and I don't remember which port it is available in. I think its at the bottom (South) of the map. I've never bought one - I like taking out any and all Confederates in my path, but it might suit you.

------------------

I know its available in the Pirate system down below Lethe. I think that it's also available in the port East of uh... the planet East of Darven, whatever that is :). Anyways, not much use when/if you decide to pick the Rebel Cruiser. They'll fire at you anyways.

------------------

OK, yes, the Rebel missions are where you get the (awesome) cloak.

Rebel ships and outfits can also be acquired by doing the Confed missions.

The southern pirate system is where you get the ID, I don't think Pirate's Cove (the one four jumps west of Atropos, which is west of Darven) has it.

Let's see, Rebel Cruisers are much better than Kestrels, but Confed Cruisers are very good, too.

A "Criminal" rating isn't literal, it might just mean that you are an escaped criminal. But it's just bad, that's all.

Sorry if I'm dumbing everything down, I'm just trying to be helpful!

Alrighty, I don't to know anymore about the Rebel Cruiser, (I like my little Kestrel) but about this Fake ID. I've seen it, but does it wipe your records at the time you buy it, or can you buy it, go out and blow come Confeds up, and than still have a clean record?
Thanks!

It cleans your record at the time you buy it, but it doesn't prevent the Confederation from building up a new dossier on evil deeds you commit after purchasing it.

You can dominate Sol and Ruby, but they have extremely large defence fleets of over two hundred. Though you can visit my webpage at (url="http://"http://members.truepath.com/kc3/index.html")http://members.truep.../kc3/index.html(/url) for cheats that will help.

I think the fake ID is useless. As soon as you hit a confed vessel, you're a criminal again. I used to worry about my legal status but now no one out there stands a chance against me... except for matt burch

I cruise he universe in a highly modified rebel cruiser. it is better than the kestrel, except the fighters are a lot weaker.

I actually have two kestrels, two corvettes and two rebel destroyers as escorts... captured in battle so no escorts fees apply. I have also dominated everything except Sol, Ruby and Palshife.
