Most Wanted?

I was looking through the EV Bible... and I noticed, there is no Most Wanted. Since this is my status with Confederate worlds, (well, the ones not dominated... Sol, Centauri, Ruby) I was wondering where this fit in. Also, does killing Bounty Hunters affect your legal status with governments?

One more thing. I know this doesn't belong here, and I don't know where to put it anyways. So I know how you get bad karmas, by bumping old topics, posting topics that are right there underneath, etc. etc. But how do you get positive karmas? Helping people, answering newbies' questions, etc?

(edit:Ah, yes now I see the Karma button. But I still wonder about the reasons for praise.)

"Most Wanted" fits in between Fugitive and Public Enemy, don't know why it is not in the EV Bible list of legal status but that's not the only error in the bible.

Anyway, for anyone who wants their karma to rise, here's a few things that might help: (mostly from experience, so no guarantees)

Treat newbies like intelligent human beings (which, in most cases, they are) and answer their questions politely and thoroughly. Don't post useless messages that don't say anything productive. Post insightful comments if you can think of any. Avoid posting angry or insulting messages. Finally, one really good way to make a name for yourself seems to be to post helpful, polite, and insightful messages in thread where everyone else is being annoying, as sometimes happens in thread about EV multiplayer, EV3D, EV4, and, strangely, karma.

Of course, not all karma happens for easily understood reasons. There will always be moderators who give it for reasons known only to themselves. What ever else you do, though, never ask a moderator to give (or sell) you karma. ๐Ÿ™‚ **

Sometimes you get karma when you least expect it, and other times you don't get it even if you think you obviously deserve it. It's not really important unless it's at -10, because at that point you are banned from posting on the boards.

Ok, so how about Bounty Hunters? How does killing them affect your legal status, if it does at all?

It doesn't seem to have any affect, but wouldn't do it in confederate systems unless you really love being blown up by enraged cruisers.
