Greetings Ev fans. I have been trying to take over all of the planets in the original Escape Velocity, and am having a pretty easy time of it with my Rebel Cruiser and six Confed Frigate slaves, but I cannot seem to finish off Ruby. It is the Confed system that is all the way in the bottom left. I killed Confed Patrol Boats and Gunboats for over an hour, and the just kept coming. Is it even possible? Is there an end to it? Also, I saw a page explaining how to make EV run on a PC with a Mac emulator. Is that possible?

Yes, it's possible, it just takes a very long time. It's not worth the wait. Neither are any of the planets in the Sol system. It's a complete waste of time. This has been discussed many times before, even on this page. This board has been around a very long time, and most of the common problems have already been answered several times. Try using the search feature next time.
