I'm not sure whether I originally intended to put on proton cannons or proton turrets, but at any rate I saw no reason to change it when I released the plug-in. If it really annoys you, I suppose I could change it to swivelling proton cannons (front-quadrant turrets) the next time I release an upgrade, although that's probably not going to be until I release a Special Edition to go along with the w00tWare port of Escape Velocity to the EV Nova engine.
What, you made that plug? Sorry, but I usually don't look at the plug designer :embarrassment: . Its a good plug and no, it doesn't bother me, I just thought that it was interesting.

Even if it does have 3 proton turrets, it could still get wasted by a kestrel, but then again pretty much anything can get wasted by a kestrel
