POG WON'T RUN IN os 9.0

I everything in the disk image onto the hard drive and rum the application, and it says... the applications pillar of garendall cannot be opened because >>pillars of garendall<<cannot be found. why is it doing this and what do i need to fix?

I think the real issue with Coldstone and crashes may be the version of CarbonLib you have installed. Please download the latest version of CarbonLib here:

Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

hey i installed carbonlib1.4 and it's still giving the same error, i'd run the whole update to 9.2.1 but it's not working from apple download. any other options or ideas?

I get a Type 3 error whenever I try to launch the game under OS 9.1

If it says that PoG can't be found, then you are probably opening an invalid alias. If the object you are trying to open has an italic title (example: Pillars of Garundel v1.0.0 ), then throw it away and use the search feature in finder to find anything named "Pillar". If it doesn't bring it up the first time, hit command-g until it brings up the real application or stops finding new items.
Also, if you are trying to open a PoG file from the game, then the application itself is missing instead, in which case you might need to re-download or unpack the archive again. I hope that helps. I could be wrong, though.

I had to make a new folder and put the program in it then it worked ok

Use the Finder's Get Info dialog to increase the partition size for PoG. Let us know if that works or not.
