I've just recently gotten back into EV after playing Nova for quite some time, but I'd put this off for a while because the long hyper jumps in EV are annoying. Today, I looked for a plugin to make hyperspacing a bit faster, and I found Lightning Jump, which makes the jump almost instanteous. The problem? It doesn't work with Magma for EV, and I can't find any other plug ins that modify just the hyperspace time...is there something I can do to make these plug ins work together, or is there another one out there that does work with Magma?

Erm, nevermind. I feel like an idiot. Just had to add some bullets in front of the plugin name so it would load first...
That's not too stupid a mistake to make - there's no mention in any documentation about that. It's always a good thing to consider that technique, though, if two plugins that shouldn't conflict are conflicting.

Good luck... This should be put in the FAQ, though.

Speaking of the Archives and FAQs, most people who would benefit most from them ignore them. So it's essentially a moot point.

huh? What do bullet points do to the plug?

They change the order in which the plug-ins load. In this case, the bullets force the plug-in the be loaded first.
Ah, OK, but what if you have 2 or more plugs with bullet points?

Then it checks the next character from the left and the plug-in with the highest one loads first.

Some plug-in names do use multiple bullet points -- I've seen some with three.
Yeah, I should've considered this when making Lightning Jump...it seems a little foolish to release an updated version of a plug-in that's less than 2k large...
