Nova sent word to the fleet. "We depart for Zebetrious in 1 hour. Then we will hyperspace to Pelagon, refuel there, then continue through Regulus, Tryvin, and then on to Deneb. Be prepared for Regulus, I'm not sure if they will fire on us or not. They do not know about our dealings with the Lethe, but they might not like us nonetheless."
After an hour, the fleet was ready to depart. The hyperspace engines hummed to life, then lit up a bright blue. In an instant all the ships zapped into hyperspace. And then all was quiet in the Arrakis system.....

The fleet exited hyperspace in Zebetrious, where it imedietly engaged it's engines again and hypered into Pelagon.
"Hopefully they will let us land...." Muttered Nova to himself as he stood on his Kestrel command ship.
"Hail them." He ordered.
"Yes sir." replied the comm officer. "Channel open."
"This is the 'Corsair' Mercenary battlegroup. We are travelling through this space, and are in need of fuel. Will be so kind as to let us land to refuel our ships?"
"This is Pelagon traffic controller. Landing request granted. You may land when ready."
"Thank you." replied Nova. "Channel off."
The screen bleeped off and swiched to main view. The merc. fleet slowly descended to the planet. After a successful landing, they imdietly started refueling. Soon they would depart again.

Captain Carnotaur do you even have 40M to give me??? --------------------- Jager was walken in the middle of the night by a beeping on the computer consol that just wouldn't stop. J ager almost called in someone to shoot it when he relised it was a message. After reading the message from Captain Carnotaur, and the one of his Girl Friend back on Levo Jager decided that it was time to expand his empire. But he didn't know where to go yet. The sourrounding systems are still beinf faught tooth and nail for.
Just as Jager startred to leave there came a message from Pelagon. The air traffic controler wanted to know if he could let a Merc. fleet land. Jager picked up the key pad and typed a message in responce. "Og cource they can land, we have no problems. Just ask them which systems around here they know are not confederation controled. Jager out". and with that Jager went for some breakfast.

Field Commander Eileen McKenzie grinned as the orders to move finally came through from High Commander Shade. Activating the fleet message systems, she said; "All forces, move out." The Olympian Solidarity Assault Fleet jumped to hyperspace.
Zebetrious --> Arrakis
The defence force on Dune certainly wasn't expecting an attack from a power on the other side of known space; they were more worried about the Confederation of Independent Worlds. So they didn't launch until the Olympians had already opened fire, and it was too late. The defence force, consisting of three Kestrels, twenty Defenders and fifteen Lightnings, lifted off into a hail of torpedos, the Solidarity's favoured opening tactic. As usual, the defenders responded with their own torpedos and missiles, taking out a Solidarity Athena and a Corvette while the heavier Solidarity barrage obliterated two Kestrels. The Solidarity fighters swept past to attack the Arrakis Rapiers, while the Defenders came into Proton turret range and were quickly destroyed, but still managed to take down a second Athena. The Solidarity fighters met the Arrakis Rapiers, and four Solidarity Rapiers went down before the Solidarity warships came into play with their torpedos, finally anhillating the defence.
When no more warships lifted from the planet, McKenzie sent a brief message to High Commander Shade detailing the victory.
The Arrakis System has been Annexed by the Olympian Solidarity

Nova was on his ship, refuelling, when he recieved a message from the Pelagon air traffic controller, asking him if he knew which systems around here aren't controlled by the Confederation. Nova typed up a message on a nearby consol, and sent it to them.
"I'm sorry, but I am short on information at this time. I am not sure what local systems are not controlled by the Confeds. Though Jadzia might not be. And Sirgil is under Rebel control. Other then that I do not know of any other systems.
And btw, my fleet will be departing shortly, just to let you know. Good Day."
The refuelling hover trucks and workers refuelling the fleet started scattering as the ships powered up their engines. All had been refuelled, and now they were ready to take off.
The warships streamed out of the spaceport and blasted into space. Once all the fleet had been assembled, it hyperspaced into the Regulus system in a flash of blue and white light.
(I am not sure whether or not the Confeds would fire on me, so I am assuming they aren't.)
The fleet hypered into the Regulus system, then into Tryvin, and at last they arrived at Deneb. Nova requested permission to land, and the Deneb traffic controllers granted, and the fleet set down.
Nova, imedietly on landing, set out to contact, in person, Carnotaur, leader of the Lethe, to arrange the plans for what he's supposed to do.
P.S. How do I research new things and make new ships?
Carnotaur had taken the 7th fleet to Deneb just prior to the arrival of Nova, and quickly ordered that the mercenary meet him aboard the Red October itself. Waiting in the breifing room, finally Nova walked in.
"A pleasure to finally meet you," Carnotaur said, shaking his hand. "Please, have a seat."
Sitting himself down, Carnotaur tapped on a button, which immediately displayed a holographic image of the Milky Way. "Our plan," began Carnotaur. "Is to lead a warfleet through Regulus into Pelagon. We will stop breifly in Pelagon to refuel, then continue on to Zebetrious, into Barnard, and finally into Sol itself."
Letting the words settle in on Nova for a moment, Carnotaur continued. "Both Lethe warfleets will lead the attack, followed by the Pirate fleet now in Deneb. The Cydonians will also hopefully send us a fleet, and, of course, your own fleet will be following us as well. If we can take out Sol quickly, the whole of the Confederation will fall and be ours. The Rebellion will then no longer have to worry about them, or the Pirates, which have promised to become much more peaceful after the victory. For your help in the Battle of Sol, you will be awarded 100 million credits (or just 75 if the battle turns out to be easy) as soon as we have them. If you wish to continue, which we hope you will, you will then be stationed at key systems to prevent an attack by the Darvenians, the Olympians, or the independent force controlling Levo. Hopefully, none of them will attack, but if they do, you'll probably be payed another 50 million. After that, you're free to go.
(MESSAGE TO SPL CADET, MERCENARY) (FROM CARNOTAUR OF THE LETHE) (ENCRYPTED) (Greetings spl_cadet. We have heard of your great strength in battle, and so were wondering if you could aid us in an upcoming battle. You will be payed 50-60 million, though not necissary upon completion of the mission. Ok, what exactly happened to this story?!
Rak resigns, creates three absurdly powerful ships, and vows to destroy the Confederation. There are a couple teeny problems with this. Rak, you control Liberty Station. How in hell do you propose to research a ship the size of the Death Incarnate? And just how do you propose to destroy Ipvicus with one tiny planet? And why does your one system get so much money?
And now that I know the reason for your resignation (Ipvicus trying to right what I think is you cheating to make the Rebels suck), why are you so mad at him for just trying to balance the story? The Rebels really shouldn't have gotten smashed as easily as they did.
And suddenly we're allowing new ships again. I'm sorry, but as far as I'm concerned, this means I'm out of the story. BFS I, II, and III collapsed mainly because of new ships. Ipvicus, you can have my fleet, wherever and whatever it is -- I'm gone.

As the lieutenant ran off, Scorcher looked again at any new messages or fleet movements. Nothing. No response from spl cadet, no communications with Luke the Pirate King. The only really good things were that Nova the mercenary was meeting with Carnotaur, and that 30 new Morpheus Bombers had been built, mostly to help combat the Confed ODS. They would also be useful in engaging capitol ship formations. Thing is, the Lethe didn't have enough of them, especially with the Lethe expected heavy losses among the bombers.
Luke's fleet finally arrived on Deneb. On the way he had only lost a few ships. Luke thought this might have something to do with the Letheans' discussions with nearby governments.
When Luke got to Deneb, he bought ten Kestrels, taking 46.9m crdits from the pirates' money.

Jager looked around his command center wondering what to do. When he glanced down he saw the message from the Air traffic controler. What an idiot thought Jager. the dam merc. didn't even know where his goverment extended to. well thats got to change. Prehaps an attack agenst the confederation would help this. Seeing the news that CARNOTAUR OF THE LETHE REPLUBLIC is planning an attck on sol Jager decided to send a message.

After Jager was done typid that load of BullSh*t he decided to look at his out dated map (We need a new one). After deciding that the Nemesis system would be a good addition. But according to the map it was Reble. controled. he would have to send a hail first in that case.

In Stardock Alpha, the new Recycletron had been working all day and night for the last three weeks. Using advance technology in laser beams of all sorts, the Recycletron had permitted to chew in several confederate ships to ordinary minerals. It was a long process, but overall less costly than having to use older ship as training plateform. 123 Patrol ships had been crushed. With the new source of fine metal, it had been sold to private industries on Sol as a fine microscopic dust. With the money, the Confederation had been able to buy 70 Dart fighters. The pilots were training, waiting for their commander to place them on the checkboard.

Prime Minister Ipvicus read Jager's message with a bemused expression, after intercepting a number of encrypted trasmissions sent to a number of independant and mercenary leaders he has begun to suspect that the Letheans were up to something, now he had proof of their trechery. While the Letheans themselves were little to be worried about, the alliance they had formed with the Pirates could casue him some serious problems. If he was going to come out the victor in this conflict, careful preparations must be made. With a few subsapce messages he layed out his plan of battle with several commanders of the Solarian Sector Defense Fleets.
His plans layed out, Prime Minister Ipvicus once agian prepared to take the R.N.S. Enterprise into battle.

Captain Carnotaur becides for the fact that he already knew because he can read I didn't tell him. I hinted at it. becides when you attack a captail system it is more than one post so i didn't do much realy. Any ways this is all part of my master plan.
