In case you are unframilliar with the popular tutorial that allows you to play EV/EV:O/etc. mac stuff on a PC (Windows), the site is in my sig. The url is (url="http://"http://www.geocities.com/game_master107/howtoemulateamac.html")http://www.geocities...mulateamac.html(/url)

Now that I'm including the ROM Image File, all the supplies are provided, as are detailed instructions. I'm even putting pics up soon to make it even easier.

Isn't providing the Mac ROM file piracy? I think it is, thats why most emulators never included one.

Sorta. Mac OS 7.5.5 is FREE, but as I recall, it is illegal to distribute it. 7.6 is certainly not free.

...And for the ROM Image File...yes, I'm kinda concerned about that, but there are a few things:

1. The emulator doesn't run just like a regular Mac (well, a regular good one anyway), thereby giving people just a taste of what a Mac is like. This is good, no?

2. Some laws are odd and often ignored (like the example I gave on the site, it really is a law that you can't let a donkey fall asleep in a bathtub in Arizona)

3. If Apple ever-and I mean ever -sent me a notice about it, it would be off the site within 5 minutes of my getting the notice and a lengthy appology would be sent off.

I have gone through all the installations and downloads, and yes the mac emulator works great, just like being on my powerbook g3 400, except for one major issue. im running system 7.5.5 and a 68040. (which is fine since on my ghz athalon ev and evo run great) however.. doesnt EVN require System 8.1 and a PPC .. (which this emulator doesnt support)
help would be appreciated- thanks

Yes, OS 8.1 is needed to run NOVA on an emulator, however, i believe that using a 68k rom is still doable to run NOVA. for more information see (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiasw.com/webboard/Forum26/HTML/003869.html#")this link.(/url)

"Click the ( General ) tab. Change the "Model ID:" to "7 (Mac Iifx)" and change the "CPU" to "68040".
2. Change the RAM size to 200 megabytes. Press the ( Browse ) button for the ROM file path and select the ROM Image File you should have gotten."

You never say that you need to go to the memory tab...small error but it might be confusing for some. Thanks very much 🙂
