(url="http://"http://www.ev-nova.net/")EV-Nova.net(/url) has been designed from the beginning to serve one purpose: a centralized location for EVN users (I say users rather than merely players because of the variety of services (url="http://"http://www.ev-nova.net/")we(/url) provide aren't limited to the gamers) to come for all of their needs, such as storyline help, provided by the (url="http://"http://www.evula.com/survival_guide/")EVN Survival Guide(/url) (which, by andrew's request, isn't up yet). The (url="http://"http://www.ev-nova.net/forums/")Forums(/url) are not just an alternative to Ambrosia's own Nova board (we're not trying to compete, just providing options), but it also hosts the progress logs for Nova plugins that are in development.
What are some of the other services? Why, I'm glad you asked again (in case you can't tell, I'm responding to voices in my head). (url="http://"http://www.ev-nova.net/")We(/url) also provide limited webhosting for Nova plugs (more information can be found (url="http://"http://www.ev-nova.net/services/hosting.html")here(/url)).
Who is running this show? Iron Eagle and I (EVula, in case you don't know how to look to the left) are the two main people behind this site, and we've both been around for a LOOONG time (not Viagra old, but we've been around a while). We've played EV, we've played EVO, and in my case, I've beta tested EVN -- who better to run a site dedicated to the latest chapter in Mac gaming? The other three people who have helped build the site into what it is now are David Arthur, Starkiller, and DarkSkies. David Arthur needs no introduction; Starkiller is the webmaster for the (url="http://"http://ucplugs.evula.net/")Upcoming Plugins Directory,(/url) and DarkSkies is another oldie (he used to run evnews.org). Seven Thirty in the fricken morning... Ugg. This is when I find out that EVN is going to be released today (According to the EVN link in the Ambrosia SW strategy section under games). Everyone else probably already knew this but I don't really pay much attention. My office here at work hasn't even been unlocked yet so I'm using a $60,000 OCTANE workstation to do what it does best: Browse the EV Boards. Wheeee. What better way to blow the gigaflop equivilent of half a dozen brand new G4s?
As for EV-Nova.net, I'm glad you aren't trying to compete with Ambrosia SW's expansive forums and website. I've watched countless unofficial EV forums pop up over time and pauses to drink the last of his coffee then wither into nothingness. By including nova resources unique to your site, you've once again set the standard for fan pages and reaffirmed yourself as one of the most dedicated EV players in history (you psycho =)) And besides, if it fails miserably, you'll have at least one dedicated visitor.
And now, I'm going to draw a beautiful outdoor scene on the white board in this office. No windows in Small Space make AJ go crazy.

Heh, that's because those forums didn't have a purpose -- not only is it a place to discuss Nova, but it's also home to progress logs for Nova plugins, which is something that Ambrosia probably doesn't want to waste it's time with.
