Yeah, we have been very inactive the past week or so. Could it have something to do with all the people leaving? I have not seen Captain Skyblade, macavenger, or a few others post for days. My little attempt at a bar died, too... Hrm.
Anyways, I am still working on the original HHGTTG books. I had some trouble reading them... It takes a lot of time. He writes in a very frusterating manner. He jumps from one person in one chapter to one in the next, so there is no entirely continuous series of events. It goes from, "Arthur grabbed his keys and started for the car..." to, "Ford quickly dodged it and grabbed the object previously mentioned from the being in front of him."
Basically, I have very little concentration. I finished up to about half through the second-to-last book, and sort of stopped reading it. When I tried to pick it back up a few weeks later, I had no idea what was going on. This summer (or something) I am going to read the whole trilogy again, front to back, in as short a time as possible. Trying to read a few chapters each night left me confused and disoriented.
Does anyone know a release date for this book?

Trying to understand HHGTTG is like trying to understand why a room with lights flicking on and off won first place in the Turner Prize. Don't, it does more damage to your brain than EV does :D.

On a serious note, the HHGTTG series has been on my to-read list for quite a while, but I've got many, many other books that I'd rather read. Fiction just isn't that interesting to me, at the moment.

That's a sucky question. How many times has the sucky word suck been used in a sucky topic? Why the suck should I know? Do I look like I should be the master of suck? This whole thing sucks? OK, enough excuses to use the word suck. I think we broke the record right there.
Insano, your attempt to set a sucky record by saying suck a lot failed in a most sucky way. You are very sucky when it comes to excessively sucky use of the sucky word suck. Without any sucky effort at all, I am suckily breaking your sucky record. I mean, using suck 8 times in a topic is hardly a sucking record. I really think you need to work on the suckiness of your posts.

Sucky the Sucker Fish walked down Suck Lane in Suckville to find a billboard displaying both Insano's and Ares 1's sucky posts. At the bottom of the billboard a sucky comment was displayed 'The sucky quality of these sucky posts never ceases to amaze me. The word 'Suck' doesn't deserve to be used in such a sucky manner. If I had my way these posts would be banished from Suckville to somewhere else in the Sucky Isles. I have never seen such a sucky thing apart from when my wife, Mrs Suck bought the Acme Sucky Toaster for eight-thousand Sucks.' Sucky continued to read the sucky comment about the sucky posts untilhe decided to walk to the general store, owned by John Suck and called 'The Suck'. He unfortunately never made it to 'The Suck' because he was run over by one of Suckville's many suckbuses.
