The full version and the demo version is available for the Macintosh now (Mac OS X native, too!) -- the Windows version is coming soon! The CDs are being pressed, so it'll be a few weeks before the CD version is available.

The download cut out on me at 17.8MB. Only the demo, mind you, I'm not downloading a 150MB file with a 56k modem that moves at 14.4k.

Anyway, Andrew...... How 'bout segementing that file? Say, five pieces of 6MB each? I'm sure that other people would find it more agreeable too!

Anyway, maybe I'll just wait the few weeks for the CD. Incidentally, I get my Visa card in a few weeks..... Conincidence? ๐Ÿ˜‰

Why don't you resume the download?

Because when I tryed it merely started it all over again, at 1,410 bytes/sec. (Using IE 5) I'm going to try one of the mirrors overnight, as at that connection speed, I need about seven to ten hours to download a 30MB file (It fluctuates between about 500 and 1500 bytes/sec). Sort of sucks, but hey, that's what you get! ๐Ÿ™‚

Have to get my modem fixed.......

After wandering around the demo a bit, I must say I'm astonished. I'll have to find the time at some point to download the full version, since I can't wait a few weeks to get it on CD. Kudos to all involved in this project, and congratulations.

NovaTools are coming.

Haven't had much of a chance to get into it yet :frown: Looks good from what I've seen mind you. It would be nice if there was some InputSprocket support tho, then ppl could configure the controls and use gamepads. Spose it would complecate the cross-compile feature of Coldstone slightly - does Coldstone have ISp support?
Cheers

It's cool. ๐Ÿ™‚ I think that the music is pretty bad, but other than that, it's quite cool.

On a side note, there probably won't be any more topics about how quiet this forum is! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Aw, I rather like the music. Keep in mind the music in the demo is more highly compressed, so that the download times are lower -- this affects the quality somewhat.

Apple killed Input Sprocket. Apple isn't supporting InputSprocket under Mac OS X...

I don't like the adventure music (karma.mp3) so I switched it with something more to my tastes. Just find a cool mp3, give it the name of the track you want to replace and drop it into the music folder. Nostalgia.mp3 always seems to play again from the beginning when I switch maps. Weird, no?
