Correct. I never said I was opposed to suggestions. In fact, I'm open to as many as possible.

Quite nice, but I must inquire about the P6... At the very least, a designation of F-37B would make more sense.

Skyblade, you should put a few of your models up for us infini-d users to look at. I don't think you have to worry about plaegurism, because most people in the EV community wouldn't do that, and if they did it would be very easy to spot.
If you are not interested, is there another ev graphics developer who does post his models for download?

I do plan on doing so, once I get the time. However, even stuffed models would be rather large and take up plenty of website space. If I did create such a section at Saber Studios, I might have to keep the quantity limited.
As for other developers who have models available for download, I can't think of any...

Skyblade, any chance you could email me one or two? I don't much care how old or what it is, as long as it is sort of ev-ish.

ares1: I can if you want me to, but I've decided to go ahead and create a model section at SS...
Skyblade - on that new version, change the 2 cannons per side to one, and get rid of the P6, and I'll use it for the HC is BfS III. I'd only need a shipyard view, too, so it would probably be quick to render. I love the new version, it just needs a couple of tweaks to match the stats of my BfS version.

I agree, bloody brilliant. Only thing I would do is make that number a bit smaller, and more complex, like "PS-302X" or something like that, really small. That P6 really doesn't look too good in my opinon. Less obvious. But hey, it's better than anthything I could do, that's for sure
------------------ I love the arcade. There's this one game near the middle where you put in a dollar and win four quarters, and I win every time! They even have games in the bathrom, look! I won a balloon!
Skyblade, if you want, you can. I, personally, would love to see you put one up. That doesn't mean you have to.
Skyblade, I think I figured out to do sprites, but do you think that you could tell me how you do it, so that I can choose the easier way if our approaches are different? I'm talking about Infini-D 4.5.
Oh how do you do it Mr. Holmes?

Oh how do you do it Mr. Holmes? Now, spin and render your animation exactly like you did your sprite. Copy the frames into whatever application you're using for sprites and masks. If there are still a few spots on your mask frames where shadows are visable, mess around with the brightness and contrast. That usually fixes the problem.
/Out of breath. Hope that helps.
Skyblade, no matter how hard I try, I can't get the sun or moon visible in byrce 5, how the heck do you do it?
Originally posted by BariSaxGuy5: **Skyblade, no matter how hard I try, I can't get the sun or moon visible in byrce 5, how the heck do you do it?
You know, I never found that out either. Even though I have the "display sun/moon" option activated, no luck. The only way I've been able to place suns / moons in my scenes is by selecting a different sky (don't use the default sky). There are a variety of skies you can use, from cool cloud scenes to bright sunsets...
AHA! Unless I misunderstood what you said, I've figured out a simpler way!!!! Who's Watson now? You group all of your ship under one object in the sequencer, select the object that you grouped everything in, then go to the Animation menu and go to "animation helper" and select Spin2.0. You say 36 seconds and 1 rotation, and change in the animation box FPS(frames per second) to 1. This way you will get 36 frames, 6 degrees each just like you should. Easier than snapshots, huh? Or maybe I just misunderstood you and we're all talking about the same thing.
AHA AGAIN! It's much easier to make sprites using Make-spin, dragging picts into Graphic Converter or Photoshop leaves a little room for error and is slower. Well Skyblade, I guess you're not as perfect as I thought you were.

Skyblade, not perfect? /me falls over and takes a few minutes to get up. Good gracious, if you're not perfect, than that must mean that there's no Santa, or Tooth Fairy, or Easter Bunny, or or or, anything magic. My whole world has collapsed in a few of your words......
Seriously now, no, I haven't made any sprites yet, I just was toying around with Infini-D last night and realized that that Spin2.0 thing would work after doing some preliminary testing.
So, how goes Saber Studios? What are you plans for it? Any expansion? New sections etc.? Are you going to start charging like your parents said?
I had a flash of inspiration the other day, but it will take a while to finish it. You know how I had said before I wanted to start a graphics website that did custom graphics? I still want to do that, but I want a special section dedicated to Mechs and Walkers. Hudson has given me some great help by posting his Walker on the gallery and answering my questions, I just need to get to work building my first walker and articulating it so that I can animate it. I can't think of a name for it at the moment, maybe WalkerWorks? EVula isn't hosting any more websites, right? He had said that before on EVula.net, but then David Arthur got a site for his mission editor so now I'm not so sure. However, if I couldn't get space on EVula.net, where could I? Free sites on f2s is closing down, and was slow anyways, and iTools is great for pictures, but not that great for making custom websites. Any ideas? I've got to give you some competion pretty soon or you'll be taken to court on Monopoly of the EV graphics industry.
That's all for now.... I'll be gone during Saturday, so if anything happens in BFS, you can control my fleet, that is, if you are still going to play.
