Tired of watching your lightnings get shredded in combat? They are now stronger, and they have a new bay, so that you can just go and upgrade your ship, no worries. They still cost lots of money, and they aren't invincible either. The next time you land at a type 5 or higher outfitter, you can even purchase a Kestrel that has the bay built in. On a side note, the revised bay is better managed, so that you can now pack in four Mk 2 Lightnings into your bay.

That's about it. We've gone through and corrected misspellings, a nagging minor bug, and improved one of the graphics so it wasn't as hideous. All EV plugs are compatible with any version of EV.

Actually, this is untrue, as Escape Velocity did not support plug-ins until version 1.0.1. Also, there have been some minor changes to the file format over the years, so some plug-ins may not work with all versions. For example, the limit on hyperspace jump links was five to a system until version 1.0.2, which raised it to sixteen. Regardless, however, it is unlikely that Joe F. will experience any problems with 'Naval Lightnings'.

This may be a stupid question but I have the Naval Lightning folder/program but if I just put it in the plug ins folder on the mac will it work?
I tried to register with my e-mail being yahoo.com why is it banned? Another question is how do you get the rebel astrodyne outpost mission, I've looked all over? What version and where can I go?

You have to place the actual plugin into your EV Plugins folder.

Free email services (such as yahoo.com and hotmail.com) are banned to prevent some of the less desirable members who have since shuffled off the Ambrosia coil from returning anew. Unfortunatly, that leaves many people SOL when it comes to registering. Sorry.

Off the top of my head, no clue. I'd suggest opening up the missions in ResEdit, but something tells me you would have trouble with that. Just keep your combat rating high and your legal status with the Confederation low, and you'll get offered the Rebel missions at some point.

You take the plug-in file from 'Naval Lightnings' and place it in the Escape Velocity plug-ins folder.
You aren't allowed to register using a free e-mail service, because that made it too easy for people who had been banned from the web boards to re-register with a different name. You have to use an account from a real ISP to register for the web boards.

I hate to say it but what planets can I find these naval lightnings
Would it happen to be the ones that say "navalized"? Also do I put the upgrade to 1.0.5 in the add-ons folder because that may be whats wrong with my computer "and me"?
