Is it some sort of role-playing game? How do I start playing? Also, when did the first and second Battles for Sol take place?
I've been visiting the boards only a few times per month, so I don't know really what's going on. All I know is that Heart of Darkness is a really cool plug-in, and I want Nova to come out soon.
Battle for Sol III is a RPG that is currently being played. You can start playing by posting in the discussion topic and attracting Mac's attention. Hopefully you'll be able to play. You will need to read the rules and such. First Battle for Sol took place a long time ago, around May I believe, but I'm not sure since I wasn't in it. BFSII took place a little while later.

Yes, post at the discussion topic, a few months ago. look on page 8ish for #2, which gives a good idea of what we're doing. Also see the Homepage link in my sig.

Hmm, if you're only on a few times a month, it's probably be best if you didn't join. We generally need to see you at least once a day, except in special circumstances. If you can be on that often though, great.

Also, the political structure of the galaxy in 'Battle for Sol II' didn't really reflect the events of 'Battle for Sol'.

The original "Battle for Sol" was by far my favorite. Never realized that one topic I posted out of extreme boredom would lead to a chain of EV webstories...

I think I do, but it was Ultimate Rebel who posted the first Boozerama Bar. Regardless of the various opinions about bars, parts of that were damn funny.
