Yep, that's right. Someone actually made a game off of Exo Battle!
I think.
I found a game that looks a lot like Exo Battle - works a lot like it too!
It's called Zone Warrior II. I don't know what one is like though. Go (url="http://"http://casadyg.com/downloads/action.html")here(/url) to find that game!
(By the way - yes I know that Exo Battle was made for programmers. I'm just letting you know that there is an actual programmer that made something from it!)

/Me thinks Spacey really wanted Exobattle, so he tore the net apart finding something half like it.

Not really.
I was looking at the latest MacAddict issue and found - at the bottom of the page - a small article on GliderPro™. GP is a paper airplane game.
So I went to Yahoo! and searched for GliderPro™. I got the homepage for that and the rest of the software by the makers. That's where I found Zone Warrior II.
Um, nope. Similar in style, yes, but then again, so are a lot of games. First off, it is a commercial game. C&G; would know better than to do that (they would get a LARGE lawsuit given to them my mburch, and would lose). Secondly, the handles different from ExoBattle. It's a lot more obnoxious (I hated the controls, and the sound was INCREDIBLY loud when I first started it).
It ain't the same. Sorry.

Well, it looked like it.
Okay. Umm, thanks... I guess.
Just out of curiosity, why do you have an advertisement for Saturn in your sig, TSB?

Because I love my new Saturn.
New saturn? Aren't you like 14?
I guess that came out wrong. It's my family's. I get to drive it in open lots once in a while though. I'm going to get one with my 'Car Savings Bond' that I've had in the bank for seven years.
I've played Zone Warrior! It's definitely not a spin-off of Exobattle; rather, it's the other way round. I remember playing Zone Warrior years ago, long before Exobattle came out. I remember fighting off attackers in the form of space tugs trying to take the station apart, and then there was a "mother ship" that you had to fly inside and shoot the power core. I also remember that the space stations in both games look exactly like the one in 2001: A Space Odyssey.
You know what? I'm going to find Zone Warrior and get it for my computer. It's only an 8100/100, but it should work, considering this was the "good" computer when I first played Zone Warrior.
