Oh. As far as EV is concerned, it's the classic "Shuttlecraft vs. Kestrel & Two Lightnings" deal, using only laser cannons (and a missile jammer), and without using the Monty Python maneuvre.
Although personally, I'm still a wee bit more proud about destroying that pesky Voinian Dreadnought on a standard Krait... even though it was a pretty boring battle in the end.

I just remembered the time when I blew apart six Confed Frigates with my Rebel cruiser and my one Kestrel escort, and then got attacked by three Confed cruisers. I lost my Kestrel, blew up one of the cruisers, and then was destroyed by waves of Patrol Ships and Gunboats.

Heck, quite impressive. I've defeated Mr. Dreadnought in a Crescent Fighter before, but never a Krait (never tried, either). As far as I'm concerned, that stupid little fighter is a flying coffin...
What did you arm the thing with? Standard blaze cannons?

I'd probably have to say that the best moment was realising that asteroids can't hit you. hehe, that was ages ago though... I think the best moment over all on EV was in galactic scourge, when i finally managed to defeat the alien cruiser in my rebel destroyer... what did they do to the alien cruiser in GS? It was absolutely solid in comparison to the alien cruiser in EV. I thought it might have been because the beams were just more destructive, especially those on the pesky alien fighters, but I'm not sure. Anyone know?

Quite honestly, I think that's all just a lie. I'll only believe people that kill a Voinian Dreadnaught in a Krait when I see it with my own two eyes. I mean, that dumb fighter is, as you said, a flying coffin.

Krait is almost worse than the Defender of Escape Velocity. I much prefer the Defender, due to its speed.
Yeah, when I had Override I remember killing Kraits in my shuttlecraft.

You're suing the Condor Catamaran? That's one tough ship with some nasty firepower, but the thing is too dang slow to defeat the aliens. You need something rather fast, yet still heavy enough to carry moderate / heavy firepower. I personally prefer the Rebel Sentinel with a few mass drivers (or laser cannons) and a few secondaries...
I see, well I'll consider that the next time i visit the shipyard, but i was thinking about something bigger, more expensive, and meaner to buy...like the diphidian juggernaut or something. I need to get the mission for it first though.

The Diphidian Destroyer, with a few upgrades and extra armament, might do the job. The Juggernaut is basically a cheat ship, and nearly impossible to get in the first place (I believe it's somewhere between fifty and seventy-five million credits)...
Getting access to the Diphidian Destroyer and Fighter isn't too hard, though.
but it's one of those expensive "goal" ships that you want to get. I'm doing the replicator missions right now...how do you get more diphidia missions? my rating is ultimate so there shouldn't be any problem. But there's tons to do in this plug so that's cool.
One of my favorite moments in EV was when I destroyed the Alien Cruiser while playing for the Rebels in my Corvette.

I remember in my first EV game (This was way back when it first came out), I bought a scoutship. Then, I hailed a confed frigate and it said the "blast every rebel you see" line, so I landed on the planet and then started shooting at a rebel cruiser when I came back up shakes head saddly
