Hey, Boozaramas been going downhill lately, and it's no fun in there anymore. We need to get some newbies and the originals to start posting. The Boozerama Bars are old. Macavenger and Captain Skyblade are bored of them. I'm bored of them. Let's let Boozerama die peacefully. Maybe we can bring it back it in a few months, after some new people come in. But right now, let's put the series on hold.

Actually Jimbob, it's not that I'm tired of the Boozerama Bar, I'm just tired of the same subjects being repeated over and over day in and day out. I read over the Boozerama posts every now and then, but there really hasn't been anything new lately...

Well, if no one wants to do them anymore, we can just stop it at the newest one. Kinda depressing though. :frown:
BB was cool for a while (though I never participated, I read through them now and then) people are just getting tired of the same old thing, like skyblade said. Maybe later on someone will start something similar but different enough to be fun and interesting again. Who knows? Maybe you, Jimbob, can start the next big thing.

I would join the BB, but I have never been into role playing. The concept of being able to say and do whatever you want just seems so... unguided and ruleless. But it is fun to watch.
I think that BB is pretty important for this board, because it seems like our only chance to let out the urge to make senseless, spam-like, random things and get away with it. It's almost like a touch of B&B; on the EV Board.

Agreed, one of the many reasons I never participated.
As for the death of the BB, very few things last forever. It's actually lasted a very long time, so I think it should have a graceful death. Let it be for now, then in a few months (after Nova is released), start it back up, see if you can get it going then. After all, there are about a billion different bars on these (EV and EVO) boards. I was actually starting to wonder when the hell it would end...

The B&B; isn't spam in it's own context, it's only spam in the context of boards like this one, that have specific direction.
How about we just post at the BBar whenever we want to say something to our EV Webboard friends? Since most of us from the EV Board don't go to the B&B;, let's just preserve the bar for that?
Sound good? It won't get as many posts, but it will stay alive a tad. Plus, I hav eno other place to brag.

techinally, all bars are spam. The only thing that can make it match with the bar is the use of EV or EVO terms in the bar and the name of it

A little more on topic (yes, just to justify this post), I'd just like to say that I've never seen a bar that didn't get repetitive after the first couple of posts -- just people getting drunk, people getting shot up, and people trying to ... interact ... with certain female elements (you know who you are ;)). No offense to anyone who participates in these, of course, but I find them mostly pointless. That said, though I don't understand why, I know that some people enjoy them a lot. But once they're done, let them go -- a newer, practically identically boring one (from my point of view, at least) will pop up soon enough.

Nope. All the Banter and Brawlers constantly attack me either because of my post count (which I never brag about or bring up in the first place. There just numbers, good grief...) and my "constant attempts to replace the original skyblade," as OctoberFost likes to say whenever he gets the chance.
