I recently downloaded the EVGE plug-in, and i love it. However, I do have some questions about said plug-in: Can you buy Orion/Polaris ships? How many Polaris rescue fighter missions must I do before I get a better mission? I did the Denigrade Station mission, "Kill Pirates then destroy 4 confed cruisers then get paid 1.5M." However, that part of the galaxy now hates me, and the government officials didn't pay me, just the pirate. I also can't talk to any of the officials I once spoke with. I smell conspiracy. Can anyone explain how I can become a good egg with these people gain? Can I ever jump into the alien territory? What do I need to do to get more involved with those blasted aliens? Thanks in advance.

Yes you can buy polaris and orion ships. Polaris better in my opinion. Don't kknow rest.

It is posible to buy Polaris Alliance and Orion Union ships, but you have to complete certain missions first.
Getting Polaris missions all depend on how well your combat rating and your legal status. Also to remind you, sometimes missions come by rarely, so be patient.
As for the Cassitopean missions, I can't say that ever happening to me. Perhaps when you destroyed the Confed ships, did you destroy all the ships or just the four crusiers? If you destroyed all Confed ships then it is little wonder why that the Northern Expanse hates you. Focus only on the four crusiers and nothing else; destroy their escorts or fighters and you'll just piss off the government. I cannot explain not getting the 1.5 million credits though...
Yes you can jump into alien space without any innital trouble. I just hope you make a back-up before doing that or you'll be in for a very long stay...that is if you aren't blown from space first.
To get the alien storyline, wait in alien space for a certain ship to come by and hail it. Again that is if you don't get blown from space.

I am an Ultimate Good Egg. I have been getting the same mission over and over again: Rescue fighter pilots. I just wondering how many times I must do this before I advance in the missions..

Well the story went something like this. The Cassitopean government asks me to rescue Freighter Pilots. Then I am sent to find out about the pirates that did it. Then I am asked to destroy 4 Condors, which I do. I then meet an old pirate captain who is angry about the whole mess and demands I take him to Denigrade Station (where this all began) when we get their the president and pirate start arguing, then their is a pirate attack, I am sent out to defend Station Denigrade. I destroy the ships and land. They are still arguing, but I show them I Confed helmet from won of the ships. Appears those "pirates" were really Confeds. The Confeds wanted a trade aggrement with Cassitopean government, apparently they were hoping to build sympathy. They tell me to destroy 4 cruisers I kill them and the frigates which got in my way. During this battle the Police interfere several times, but I bribe them. When I land I am paid 1.5M by only the old pirate no Cassitopean president. I leave the planet and see that I am a wanted felon/ offender in the Northern Expanse. The whole mission was very ominous, it started off with a mission, "So it begins..." I am just trying to figure out how to be loved.

Well, joining the PA or OU does require certain missions; you'll get them at some point if you have a good legal status and combat rating (they may require a certain level of advancement in their allied govs, Rebel/Confed respectively).
You may have done something wrong in the Denigrada missions, although I don't remember having any problems; maybe you accidentally shot some friendly ships by accident. I'll check on the mission string when I get time and see if I can figure out the problem.
As far as hypering in to the alien systems go, you probably have to use manual hyperspace. Press h, then (backslash) until your navigation computer reads "Unexplored System." Then press j, and you should be on your way.

I believe that the Denigrade mission problem is a bug. After you teach the Confeds a lesson for the Denigrade Station, the Government of the Northern Expanse should change to hate the Confeds. Oh, well those guys didn't seem very good anyway, except for the Proxima, but I hope I can still befriend them.
As to the Aliens, I hyperspaced in and landed. then I proceed to do a lot of running between the two alien systems. But I am trying to find a ship to hail, anyone in particular? Any tips on the alien dealies? Thanks again.

No, it's not a bug, that's just how it is. They don't control the entire Northern Expanse, and provoking the Confederation further is a "very bad thing to do." (quote from nowhere in particular)
As for finding aliens to hail, I believe, but am not sure, that the ship's name has a symbol (like an asterisk) next to it. Just keep waiting around.

The ship you need to find is the Alien Mothership, complete with asterix. I think that some problems can arise with the ship. It only shows up if EVGE was installed when you created your pilot file.
