Erm, who exactly are you referring to anyways?

Ok. Time for me to screw up and defend a board member. It's one thing to kinda blow somebody off. It's another to use the capital F. That invokes a the whole 9 circles of hell on your thrice-damned soul. Burn in hell, and enjoy the karmaslap. You deserved it. While you are at it, why not refer to Gildor as 'Gilly?' Sorry, Jon, But I had to do it for the example.

Almighty lord, Nasher Degy, awoke, and prepared his elite power for use on his hated opponents. Almighty First, just like that. - Antigan Codex, Book of Antigan. 1:1

Except that I was just using the incorrectly spelled version of forge as an example of what some people say, as you did there. I know perfectly well that you never call forge that other word if you value your life.
Just pointing out that if he's so sensitive about his name, maybe he shouldn't substitute sh*t into other people's names so carelessly.

Tough, you're the straw that broke the camel's back. And there's a big difference which I hope you never understand.
Well, Forge, I was booted for saying,
"Ok, I'm outties... Going to play EV"
I think before that we were talking about how andrew picked operators for the channel.
You responded with a kick and the message,
"Get the Hell out already!"
I'm not sure exatly how many people requested I be kicked after my apparently rude and offensive comment, but I guess I must have "screwed up badly."

Come, fellow Americans, and let us scare the Taliban, and all anti-American bigots for that matter, into submission by putting cheap plastic American flags on our SUVs. Surely they will recoil in terror at the very sight.

That was a joke on my part. It was about two minutes between the time you said that and I kicked you. We had a laugh over that after you were gone. Trust me, it was a joke.
And I also guess you don't know how #ev3 works.

Two minutes? Try 10 seconds... I was signing off of a few other IRC networks and as I was about to log off irc.ambrosia.net I got booted before the connection closed.
Whether it was a joke or not, I didn't think it was the best way to handle new people to the channel - or any community for that matter - and had no desire to return afterwards. Maybe you should try handling newbies with a bit more tact.
Hey, did you really call Skyblade what Macavenger says you called him?
Remember that you are a unique individual - just like everybody else.

No, I've never called skyblade that. I actually like skyblade and think he's a good forum member.

Well crap, guess that little slip-up stops my testing run dead in it's tracks...
I was talking to forge...
/me ponders for a moment....
Cashew = forge? That would explain a few things...
The IRC page isn't loading...

Uhm.. I don't think there is an IRC page. You use an IRC client - like IRCle -, connect to an IRC server, and then join a channel. If you are trying to do that through a web browser, then you are not going to get very far...
heh. That explains that... what do I need.

Yeah. I was noticing that I had a certain reputation that preceded me on a few forums and I also wanted to see what the reaction would be towards an unregistered person who had the semblance of being around for a while and whatnot, whether or not people would treat them differently.
But no, I found that even though virtually all of Cashew's posts had been helpful (minus the posts in that horrendous topic on this forum) he was treated with disdain just because he posted as unregistered.
So whether somebody knows what they're talking about or whether they don't doesn't seem to matter to a lot of people. All that seems to matter to them is somebody's registration date or their posts count.
I must say, I was rather disappointed with three or four people from this forum and their reactions. Instead of taking things in stride they felt a need to lash out and attack the unregistered person just because he was unregistered.
The test was a success, but not the kind I wanted it to be.

A strong stomach and a disturbed sense of humor for starters.

An IRC client such as IRCle, BitchX, ShadowIRC, etc. (url="http://"http://www.download.com")http://www.download.com(/url) should have several others if you just search for IRC.
