Actually, I find Cashew and his posts to be often rude and offensive. Look at the D&D; topic by Luke: he got into a fight with spacey and spammed the topic with how stupid an idea it was.
Spacey - and moose, was it? - were the only ones who persecuted Cashew's not being registered, and they do not represent the EV board and all of its members.

As I said, aside from that topic. My views on bars and their ilk are known and it should be of little or no surprise that I choose to voice my opinions of them in various ways. For the most part I ignore them and just look upon the people who post in them as wasting their time. But when I find an opening I have no problem flipping one around, I just don't do anything to them like I have in the past.
As for any amount of respect at all for being a moderator or not (referring to Captain Skyblade's post): I don't want any. I moderate an obscure forum which doesn't get but a post or two. As a person I don't feel as though I need the respect of others either.
It's not whether others respect you for anything at all. It's whether or not you respect yourself that matters.

You don't know the tenth of it. I'm flawed as what, it's just that I accept those flaws as part of who I am and I accept that they are mine to deal with as I see fit.

Well, I do agree that we should accept ourselves as who we are, but it isn't our duty to set other people straight. I accept you as a somewhat different moderator (heh), and don't do anything to change that. You have every right to follow what you believe, and the same goes for others. Too bad it isn't always as simple as that, eh?

To avoid any confusion that may have been created by forge's technically accurate but situationally (for lack of a better term coming to mind) incorrect reply, ares, there is another webboard member named skyblade, whom forge has not called shthead. He has, however, called Captain Skyblade Captain Shthead on IRC, which I know is what you were really asking about.
