I hope you are able to find someone to cohost the full version, Andrew. I've got an IRIX box on a T3 that has been downloading full time since about 1 this afternoon. It is averaging about 4 MB/hr. Does the demo version allow any additional play once it is registered? I have a feeling the registration process will finish first.
Congratulations on getting one out the door!

Yeah, tell me about it -- we spent extra money to remove our normal bandwidth cap for PoG's release, too. It's on a fractional T3, but thousands of people are trying to grab it. You can get the demo at (url="http://"http://www.macgamefiles.com")www.macgamefiles.com(/url) too -- but they are not hosting the full version.
If you check out the posts here in this forum, a few people have posted other mirrors -- might want to give them a shot, too.
As for the demo version, we had to cut huge chunks of the game out to get it down to 30mb -- so everything that is in there can be played (there is no way to "register" the demo version)

CS and I have mirrored the files on a relatively fast server.

Thank you! I got it last night courtesy of SpeedDownload 1.06 (1.1 crashed reproducibly, unfortunately) so now I have the app! Sadly, I still dont have a registration code, so the full version wont let me play (at all).
Andrew, what does it take to get some special treatment around here?

It won't let you play at all? If you double-click on a saved game, it should let you load it and play...
There seems to be a bug in the OS X version that causes it to not let you open saved games (unregistered) unless you double-click on the file in the Finder.

Thanks, Jericon! Much, much better than the poor overloaded Ambrosia servers.
