I really need help with this plug because I can't seem to be able to get the mission to travel through the gateway? How do I get this?

There's a gateway? Are you talking about the Quantumire that you got from Meowx? And you can choose your opponent instead of a mission? Well, that one doesn't have a gate. Just the system called The Cove. If that's not the one, then Sorry, never heard of it.

I never heard of Quantumire having a gateway. The only plug that I heard of having a gateway is GS(Galctic Scourge). Sorry I can't help you.

Unless he's talking about the time portal, which I can't remember how to get to offhand... keep doing missions for the Feds is all I can remember.

Time portal that's it, but I have spent forever on fed missions and they still have not helped me a bit.
TSB, I must unfortunately say that you are a Quantumire newbie.
The portal missions start at Ostina 3, I believe. You have to go back and forth between Tau Ceti IV and Ostina 3 for a few missions, and then you explore the portal, and then you can go through.
