My site is ready to start growing. We got the index page up and running smoothly with an awesome new image map (thanks to Captain Skyblade) and now I need some content to start filling up my web space.
Anything along the lines of stories, graphics, tips, or anything that relates to EV is acceptable content. If you have anything you want me to post on my page, tell me here for email me.
Also, I have a links page that is looking pretty bare. If you have a link to an ev-related site (upcoming plugins, shipyard, anything like that) just tell me here and I'll add you. And don't forget to link to me as well.

I'd send you some graphics, but my G3 with which I design all my graphics on went down a few days ago (hard drive got screwed... I hope I didn't lose any of my graphic files). However, I do have two old stories I donated to Nova6 months back, so feel free to use them.
You can find them here: (url="http://"http://nova6.pautsch.com/stories.html")http://nova6.pautsch.com/stories.html(/url)

Also, feel free to use my old shipyard and outfit pages (you can put them under the links page, use the descriptions for your own shipyard and outfit sections, or even drag all the images and descriptions to create your own). Hope you can find some use for them, as these two pages are old and need some attention.

Hrm. I was expecting a ton of people wanting me to link to them and a lot of people who wanted to contribute... oh well :frown:
I have used your shipyard graphics on the tactics page. And I will use your outfits once I get to that section.
I'll post the stories next update.
Hey, how did you make that metal texture you gave me? That was cool. I would like to know how to do something like that. I mean what filters and effects did you use?

Don't worry, that will change over time. I'm sure once your website starts picking up traffic, you'll get more link, graphic etc. submissions.
Well, those ship and outfit graphics aren't really mine, but glad you could use them. Feel free to use the descriptions of you create a shipyard...
Textures take awhile to make. The particular one I sent you (I've made so many that I can't remember exactly which one I sent you ;)) was, I believe, designed at a few hundred pixels, then was pasted and pieced together into a 1000 by 1000 pixel image. 3D programs like large textures, thus the reason it's so large...
I don't use too many special tools to make textures, just the basic ones for the most part. I start with a background color, and apply a few darker shades and give it a guassian blur. I then apply "texturize" and "noise" effects as a finishing touch. It's things like the odd shapes and boxes that take up all the time. My first textures were terrible at first, but you get better as time progresses...
