First of all, for those who think I prefer the 'Feds, the answer is NO!!!
To the question: Where is the next mission series after the particle beam? I've been looking for ages and can't find it. I'm "deadly", so do I have to get to "ULTIMATE" before I can find them?

You have to have a pretty decent combat rating, but I don't believe it has to be ultimate. I've only done the Confed strings three times in the last five years, but every time, I remember the missions continued directly after the particle beam mission.
That's all I can really say. David Arthur is the guy you need to talk to. He'll give you every detail about the nasty 'Feds...

David could tell you, and he does prefer the 'Feds.
It's been a while, but as far as I know the only missions you could get after the ones involving the Particle Beam are the Jericon shipping missions, which can be obtained anywhere, and the Alien mission suite itself, which I think starts on Hodgson's World in the Matar system, but I could be mistaken.

The next mission set is the Alien missions. Deadly Combat rating is enough. I believe, according to ResEdit, that you need a legal status of Role Model or higher, however, practical experience has shown me that Upstanding citizen should be sufficient. It is available at any Confed World, though Hodgson's World is the best place to get it, since you will be dealing with the Risa system.

Kalle- Legal status is what the mission requires. I would say to get it you must have had Upstanding Citizen for a while, as you need an upper level of it.

It starts on any Confederation planet, requires a Deadly combat rating, and, I believe, requires a fair bit of legal status. You must have completed all the Rebel Pursuit (particle beam) missions. Actually, the requirements are about the same as those for the equivalent Rebel mission.

And yes, RC, I did it myself. It's just a recreation of the kind of tech info stuff on the erstwhile escape-velocity.com. I'm rebuilding the site at its present location; my old server went out of business. I hope to re-mount ship and equipment/weapon info soon.
