I was hoping someone would be able to direct me to a site at which I could find a ROM of EV to download. I downloaded the game from the official site, but basilisk II doesn't seem to recognize it. I followed the steps to instal basilisk II and the game but I can't find the correct ROM or something. Of course, this all means I'm on a PC, but I had EV on it before, but lost it when I formatted and reinstalled... that was with a different emulator which I can't find now. Can anyone help me? My gratitude much abounds to anyone that can point me in the right direction.

I just downloaded the executor emulator from ardi.com as someone in a recent post said to do, but I don't know how to run EV in it... I have an EV.bin file that I d/led from the ambrosia site, but... could someone please help me? The entire MAC layout is so freaky compared to what I'm used to.
.bin is binary encryption. A compressed file.
you'll have to find some way to decompress it.

thank you very much, I simply took the .bin file and unstuffed it. I know it was very simple and I should have thought of it before, but thats just a testiment to how stupid I am thanks again!

Thats the problem with PC users, so used to looking for the hard way

You all realize that emulators are illegal, right? Some people don't care but I thought I should point that out. If it's the same rule as the one that applies to VG emulators, that is. I'm not well versed in the law system, but I do know this much: Using a ROM file with a system emulator (for example, a Sonic the Hedgehog ROM on a Genesis emulator) is illegal, period. I'd bet the same goes for the PC, only EV is shareware...hrm...

You do realize you don't know what you are talking about? The reason using the StH ROM MAY be illeagl is that you do not own a real copy of the game. It's perfectly legal if you own a copy of the StH cartridge. For that matter, there is nothing even vaguely illegal about owning an emulator. The reason the VG system was sued for was because Sony was afraid sales of VG would hurt their ability to sell the Playstation. It was later proven by the courts that there was nothing wrong with it, as long as the users bought the games themselves. Using EV on the PC is 100% legal as long as he registers it.
