I almost considered voting for it myself, I've always liked large lumbering capital ships, even if they can't seem to hold their own against their smaller more maneuvarable counterparts. Besides, who wouldn't like those little blue Patrol Ships to sacrifice their lives for them, and is their a ship in the game that comes with a Gunboat bay? I seem to recall that being one of the outfits I saw in ResEdit. Of course it could be something I made years ago and then forgot about...

Yes, a përs ship with the Prefix U.S.S. sometimes has a gunboat bay. :8

Well, it really depends on the situation and what kind of pilot you are......
Bah, who am I kidding. I'm for the Rebel Cruiser all the way as far as original EV goes. Its an excellent blend of superior firepower and decent speed.
BTW, I will concede that the Fed Cruiser is superb in terms of sheer firepower. The reason that I don't prefer it is because all that power is worthless to me if I can't keep up with my enemy....even with speed upgrades, to me it manuvers like a pig.

Um, I believe this is stock scenario, so the Alien Cruiser would not count. Aside from your fix not working, it's also impossible to get one in the stock scenario, so just pick a normal ship instead.
Exec. Transport! Never flown 'em, but they look cool. Too bad they suck in battle. (They can't even shoot!)
P.S.-This doesn't mean I'm a Confed fan, Rebels have 'em too.

Also, they aren't case sensitive, I do them in lower case all the time, and it works fine.

You must find out the image URL. Control click on the picture and select "Open in New Window." Copy down that URL.
