Of course we've meandered into EV:O board territory, but still... I happen to be flying about in a Zidara, (I think I just gave up regular EV yesterday, after finally finishing the last mission string I could get in this latest play through) and now I'm EV:Oing all over the place. Still not enough room. Even with 3 Mass Expansions, the most that leaves any cargo room, it would only have 60 tons for Phase Turrets and Disperal Rockets. I need at least 70.
The Voinian Cruiser would have plenty of room (I could stuff in 5 Phase Turrets and still have room for some Rockets, with 10 tons per speed upgrade), but even with the Speed Upgrade, it would only have speed 150 - still a bit slow for me in the Crecsent.

Hm, no way to fix that without cheating. It would be cool to have a Voinian ship decked out with Crescent outfits, though. Ooh...
It'd all be worthwhile on the Cruiser if you could sell the Heavy Fighter Bay. Do you know how much that thing weighs? 240 tons!! Selling that, a stripped Voinian Cruiser would have 580 tons of space! Even deducting 80 tons for Dospect and Bronev plating, can you imagine how far 500 tons will go in the Crescent?!? Hmm, 5 Phase Turrets, Azdara bay, Speed Upgrades, 2 D. Rocket Launchers, 3 SAD Launchers... that leaves 60 tons for ammunition, plus let's add a couple of mass expansions, then I can get 60 SADs and 20 D. Rockets... :drool:
And as long as I'm dreaming, let me have a VD to strip down and outfit in the Crescent.

Umm, correct me if I'm wrong here, but doesn't the VD show up only in the missions to observe it and destroy it? You certainly aren't going to have a UE Cruiser then, and shouldn't be able to board it if you did. I've never seen it later in the game, it just disappears.

The UE Cruiser mission just requires you did the "Rescue Voinian Defector" mission.
To board it, you must abort the mission. Then you can board it.
