Just what the subject says. I think I threw it away. But I haven't been having ANY problems with ANY plug-ins. But just to be safe, I want to know where/if I can get one. And what should I do with the Clavious & Beyond Cleaning Plug-Ins?
By the way, I'm sorry for all the posts today.

You can get it (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiasw.com/Products/Add_Ons/EV_AddOns.html")here.(/url) There's nothing wrng with a lot of posts, as long as they're not spam. You just happen to have many comments/questions 2night. Forget the cleaning plug-ins, just start a new pilot file for Clavius and don't use that file for anything else.

Thanx man! How do I get raised Karma on these web boards? There's no enemies to kill and no missions. So, what do I do to get a 'raise'? Just answer questions right and if I'm lucky I get a Karma raise?

Well, it would seem that moderators have the ability to raise your karma as a sort of reward for acts you have done within the community. I imagine helping people out would do it. Also, in the web board guidelines I think it explains it quite well.

I've heard of this David Aurthur... isn't he the sole Confederate supporter for the boards?
That is soo true. I don;t understand how he does it so well. If you whant to know the tricks of the trade you go to him.(That dosen't mean he'll tell you )

I don't think he's the sole fed supporter, but he's the one who's least afraid to voice his pro-'fed opinions. He has +12 karma, I believe.

That's what HE says.
Generally, I find David doesn't lie about anything, certainly not minor things like that.
I think the way he does is in part based on his knowledge of virtually all things Nova, which makes the job of the mods on the EVN board easier. he also know a lot about pretty much everything else, and most of his posts are helpful, he doesn't seem to be here to have fun to the extent most of us are, so naturally he spends more time being helpful, which gets him karma.

Well sure Macavenger, ruin my little joke! But what you said is true. His every post is helpfull. I've never seen any of his posts be unhelpful.(exept on the BFS1)

In Escape Velocity 1.0.5, the EV Tuner file does nothing whatsoever; it's just an empty plugin file. It's a holdover from previous versions, where it incorporated some additional data, mostly higher-quality graphics.

No, just one of the few who still bothers talking about it on occasion. However, I spend more of my webboarding time on the Nova board.

Actually, that's not quite what I say. What I say is that I never post for the purpose of getting karma, and I say that because it's true.

Who says I'm not here to enjoy myself? I just happen to enjoy being helpful.

I was remembering what you said on a karma discussion a while back on the Nova board, which is where I heard you say that.

I concede the point, I do so too, I just do some other things on here too that are purely for entertainment only, such as a couple of the bar threads and web stories.
I could be just as pro-Confed as the next guy, only I have VERY strong Rebel ties.
That said, I think that if want to continue this, we should talk about it in a different topic. Some mod is going to lock this up if we don't stop soon(and with good reason to do so).

There are no more mods ever around here, but this is the wrong place for a discussion like this, I suppose... oh, well.

I may have said something with similar words to what you quoted, but the general meaning was a bit different than what you conveyed.
Anyway, for anyone who wants their karma to rise, here's a few things that might help: (mostly from experience, so no guarantees)
Treat newbies like intelligent human beings (which, in most cases, they are) and answer their questions politely and thoroughly.
Don't post useless messages that don't say anything productive.
Post insightful comments if you can think of any.
Avoid posting angry or insulting messages.
Finally, one really good way to make a name for yourself seems to be to post helpful, polite, and insightful messages in thread where everyone else is being annoying, as sometimes happens in thread about EV multiplayer, EV3D, EV4, and, strangely, karma.
Of course, not all karma happens for easily understood reasons. There will always be moderators who give it for reasons known only to themselves. What ever else you do, though, never ask a moderator to give (or sell) you karma.
