Someday, if you get a hang of EV editing with resedit, or try one of the helpful EV editing tools (like that EVEdit by Ben Chess) You can make up your own cool weapon! Like a beam that kills instantly and doesn't drain fuel, equipped on an RCS and Engine upgraded Escape Pod that can't be hit Cap'n Hector like. Very cool, THATS the way to dominate the galaxy. Expecially if you name it the "Rice Crispie" like I did.

Just one suggestion, use ResEdit, not one of the imitations. The real thing is the only way to go. EV-Edit in particular is known for creating buggy plugs.

where do I get it?
ResEdit can be downloaded (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiasw.com/cgi-bin/vftp/dl-redirect.pl?path=ev/utilities&file;=ResEdit213.sit.hqx")here(/url). You will also want to look at the (url="http://"http://www.evula.com/ev_bible/")EV Bible(/url). This is a web version, I think there's one you can print out, but I'm not sure where at.

I've never found anything difficult or time consuming about making missions in ResEdit. They worked for Matt, Scmelta-V and all the other fancy editors didn't exist then, you know. Besides, I'd rather do all the editing in one place, from what I've managed to pick up, Schmelta-V only works on missions, nothing else.
Oh yeah, there is an annotated version of the EV Bible available for download under "EV Add on Files" then "Utilities" or somesuch.

If you get the newer version found in the evo add-ons file it isn't buggy. It is compatible for both ev and evo.

Maybe, but I never liked it's interface anyway... Call me weird if you want, but I get along much better with ResEdit's straightforward code.
